Um, which women is she talking about? “Wives can, of course, challenge that view but few seem willing to do so”? That’s certainly news to me.

But this is great to hear. It means that one of two things will happen, both of them good. Women will either attempt to overturn such a rule, officialising their true colours in public and making themselves look like hypocrites for the 7000th time. Or they’ll accept it and start working.

I’m only surprised that this is happening in the UK – it’s a big step for a country that’s been pretty gynocentric in recent years.

I think as old school judges are put to pasture and younger ones are brought in, this trend will continue. Younger judges will know what’s going on and have maybe had a father get f~~~ed over.

Finally, but the article seems to be reporting it only because it affects women. It’s progress, I guess, but they still say it’s reviewed on a case by case basis. Maybe this is the government trying to make marriage more appealing to men? After all, marriage is great for the government, they get a chunk from the marriage license, they get a chunk of all the money spent on the wedding and honeymoon, and they get a continual chunk from the divorce through the courts. Marriage, and the eventual divorce, greatly benefits the state. So if men aren’t getting married, then maybe this is them trying to sweeten the deal so they at least get something.

Kind of like how in Japan the government gives benefits to married couples like tax breaks and so on, as their population crisis is much worse off.

Bravo, time to tear-up those lifetime meal tickets. I’m sure these rulings are linked to the judges who are treated like little more than walking wallets in their own homes and the ones who have been divorce raped. I can feel the tremors now from all the women who see marriage and divorce rape as a ‘career choice’ shaking in their boots as the misandrous legal system they engineered for themselves starts crumbling around them.

This needs to be applied to ALL divorces, not just to “rich” women.

A true test of “equality” and reasonableness would be for divorced women to have to support themselves after a short term of support (if required).

Divorced men have to support themselves, and are reasonably expected to support a new family while still supporting a former one with usually continued unreasonable demands for his resources.

Retraining to re-enter the work force/new job is a fact of working life.

Maybe that’s just a polite way of me saying “get a f~~~ing job you lazy bitch”.
