But really, we dont care. there is no point to it. we just wanna be left alone.
Im glad i found MGTOW couse i was getting the backslash from family and friends… still do.. “its abnormal, you are just hurt, it will pass, the rigth one… etc”
And i was like WTF i must be insane.
then i learned other guys got to same conclusion i did. And thats why im here.

No, i dont want to fix the problem.
Im 32 divorced, no kids, my sis got no kids, my mom is gonna die one day.
I dont care about future anymore. ITS NOT MY BUSINESS and is totally liberating.

I get all of it trust me… I’m not on here to be smarter than anyone by the way. I’ll continue to learn, read and post whether people agree or disagree. That’s what makes this a forum. If we all agree to every single thing it wouldn’t be MGTOW now would it?

lol, I never said to trust me, you don’t have to if you don’t want to. Your stories are out there already. I don’t know your name and you don’t know mine…. That’s a start. Now if you are looking for a financial gain out of this situation, you are looking in the wrong place (if you were to submit a personal detailed story) you really don’t have to, As a writer it’s my duty to listen, read, and watch people stories so I can write my own. I was simply putting it out there about using a story as a script. NONE of you have to, I’m not forcing you to, so I am not the one who took offense.

Don’t ya’lo get caught up in the bright lights of show bizz.

666 smart writers takes bits and pieces from several stories and makes a composit story.

there is no rules for this, that i know.

One thing is true, histories are there, and this is not limited to members.
    Got my point?….

Hue-Man666, you said, “… but I do believe there has to be a change in our society.”

You’re right about that. And our solution is walking away from the most toxic part of that society — women.

And that’s it. There’s nothing more to MGTOW; no activism; no marches; no parades or legislation. We just turn around and walk away.

The result of our walking away means immediate change for the individual. Not ten years down the road, right now. And that’s what matters most.

I wish you the best of luck creating your MGTOW documentary, because more men need to hear this message. But you don’t need our help for that. You can read through the forums and create a compelling character from the stories here, just like Old Sage said above — a composite character.

Of course. That’s what I intend on doing, even from my own experience.

Rather than documentry style, make A composite fictional story. You come out in the same place, with out offending anyone, and no royalty fees to pay. Good luck!

    There’s a real possibility here!

If this were a “documentary” it doesn’t really work, and I can understand why there is pushback here. So should the OP.

But if he’s not doing a story about “MGTOW”…… the general male opinion, character, outlook etc. is HUGELY under-represented in films, commercials and TV. It’s so gyno-orientated that a “man” is practically mute.

And I (along with many others here) have some pretty f~~~ing entertaining stories and anecdotes to tell. Even HILARIOUS ones. Great comebacks to female dialogue etc. That’s what I gather OP is after here.

Consider MR. BIG from SexAndTheCity for example. Compare him to all the other weak male characters in the show. He was GOOD male/manly character and very well written. He was “honest”. He was the only one who said “you know you’re kinda acting like a bitch” when she was behaving like a bitch.

    —-

One of my best and longest friends wrote a screenplay. He is a highly respected TV commercial director. His screenplay was about a couple going through a break up and it started shot in the kitchen with both of them over breakfast.

He invited me over for dinner , handed me the script, and I scribbled throughout it and told him what the guy should say INSTEAD. He love it and adjusted his script accordingly. Then we worked on it together for weeks. I don’t know whether it will get the green light (yet), but we turned the script around to be more from the MAN’S point of view.

He even wanted to write me in and give me the small part of the office boss. So who knows!

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

That’s brilliant and you are so right. The male character is mute in almost all of the medias sitcoms, videos etc. I for one don’t like it and it’s become a bit of a bore and to predictable. The male is never the victim it seems.

You can’t make up something you never seen, experienced or read about. But of course you can fabricate certain things. Thats easy. A film director is merely a psychologist and a shrink
