I’ve never been used to getting attention from women as I spent most of my life morbidly obese. Wasn’t until recently I cleaned my s~~~ up, dropped half my body weight, and went clean shaven.

I got a new job a few months ago and about two months in, this older woman, a single mom no less starts sprinkling a little attention my way. We started hanging out and oh my, maybe even started dating? I admit a little weakness on my end but also interested in seeing how far it could go before it all cracked.

3 weeks. Yep. Not even a month before all the s~~~ty behavior popped up. I blame it mostly on her being post wall though. AWALT my brothers. Stay safe, and of course, thank you MGTOW and all it’s members in helping me keep my guard up at all times. Lord knows I could have been ensnared had I not known what I know now.

You could’ve just titled this post “AWALT” lol.

I don’t date much now, but i did for a bit after my divorce – dropped the bodyfat, cleaned up, etc etc. Good for you man. Enjoy the casual dating thing if you find it amusing; for me the cost (dollars & bulls~~~) is too high for the benefit, but whatever works for you.

One caution though – if she gets pregnant she’ll almost certainly have the kid. You’d be roped in for 18 years of child support. If you’re going to play the field w/single moms get a vasectomy.

All I got out of this is that any kind of online/texting conversations with women go south after at most two or three exchanges. Everything gets pointed back to her or blamed on you. It’s why men leave conversations with women feeling either judged, anxious, self conscious, or ALL of the above.

I have discovered a truly remarkable list of reasons why women are not necessary for a happy life, but alas this margin is too small to contain it.

Hey we have all touched the fire and got burnt. The important part is that you learn from that. Now that your a more attractive man you will probably see more women showing interest in you. My advice is to keep focused on bettering yourself and buy a fleshlight if you do not have one already.

I fully accept the heat I received from you guys. I just had to go touch the fire despite knowing it was hot.

My red pill rage dissipated some months back but I was pretty aimless after that depending on working long hours to keep me occupied. I’ve lost interest in most of my hobbies as the equipment needed to run them kept failing and I just quit buying or repairing new ones. Ironically, working long hours is also preventing me from finding anything else new to do.

I was almost willing to accept any form of “new distractions” hence my jumping into the relationship.

Update since our last encounter:

Several days after I ended it, she admitted to me that she was using me to get over someone else… another married man no less. Sending me pics of them in embrace. To “get back” at me or to prove something to me I’ll never know. By this point I was just relieved to have my freedom back so I just shrugged it off. Said I won’t hold grudges if she won’t. I thought waving my hand and saying “whatever it doesn’t matter” was a good indication of saying get off my back.

She’s been friendly. No idea on what level. I’ve seldom entertained her messages and whatnot. Keeping it cordial at best. Ignoring completely at worst. She’s inviting me out for a birthday dinner and booze and I’m feeling all kinds of iffy. I think I know what you guys are already going to say about accepting the offer of a free meal and drink.
