Anonymous18I’d like to discuss few things I took away from reading the book.
1) Hypergamy – the protagonist Dagny Taggard spreads her legs for 3 men in the book. In an increasing order of their social value and importance in the book. With each monkey branching the author/character gives no explanation of why she does so apart from her natural tingles.
2) SJWs – the book contains characters and settings that mirror our modern times of political correctness and SJW-type themes. ‘For the good of all’ types who f~~~ everything up and eventually rely on men who established the system of hardwork and money-making as a metric of achievement.
3) The truth – Towards the end as the antagonists were torturing John Galt, James Taggard undergoes a mental breakdown and collapses under the heavy burden of his own consciousness. That is what PC-crowd is going through right now and self-destructive process.
It’s a great read and more so because each man that the woman protagonist f~~~s in the book, the predecessor male barely gives 2 f~~~s. They still like and respect her to an extent but totally acknowledge hypergamy.
She was never theirs, it was just their turn with her.
Any bros read the book here? What was your take on it regarding how our society is today and how mgtow-like the 3 protagonist males were in the book?
Good Topic! I have only read excerpts of Atlas Shrugged. I could go for an hour even with what little I have read. My favorite of course is John Galts speech. I am going to pick up a copy for my summer read. It should take me a while as it is over 1000 pages long!
My father made me read Atlas Shrugged when I was 12. I was being punished for not doing well in school. That was the first year that I lived with him and he was an alcoholic and drug addict. No one knew that until I went to live with him though. I had to sit in the bathroom (reading room) from the time I finished my chores until supper, then read again until bedtime. It took me 3 weeks like that to finish the book.
Anyway, that tome certainly had a big impact on my life. The Moral Crisis section should be a must-read for all teens and young adults.
Any bros read the book here?
Six or seven times. I love this book. I’ve read all of her works. If you get a chance you should read ‘The Fountainhead’ too.
Welcome to the forums @iamwoody.
Reading it now, about a third of the way through. It is not a book you can skim or speed read, takes concentration and thought. I reread a lot of paragraphs to try to get it straight in my mind. It seems to mirror the way our society is going now.

I believe it took me about 2-3 months to finish reading that book, because there is just a lot of content in that book itself to soak up. After like a few people here in this site told me how good this book is and that I should read it, I finally did with no regrets, because even if you do not agree to everything the book teaches you, the book itself still has some really brilliant storytelling.

Spoilers:
John Galt suffered from oneitis.
Dagny Taggert’s pussy rocked.
Ayn Rand thought it would be a little too much for her readers to handle, but originally wrote a scene where Dagny took on Francisco, Hank & John at the same time. Blowing Francisco while Hank & John did a DP with her. (John Galt got the anal position because he was her ‘ideal’ man)
Triple facial at the end of it.
Railroads are a key theme in the story as a parallel between the miles of rail the trains ran on and the miles of c~~~ Dagny rode.
Only guys that could potentially get Dagny off like a porn star were allowed at Galt’s Gulch.
Dagny secretly fantasized about doing double vag with men that were ‘producers’ and worthy to play ball bumper cars while drilling her hole.
(In the director’s cut of the movie, Hank Reardon has a dildo made for Dagny from Reardon Steel)
Like all women, Dagny loved money.
John Galt wanted to protect Dagny’s pussy from the looters and the threat of BBC.
The End

Congratulations, you have just created the plot for a possibly very successful porn film. I would suggest marketing this, but it might just be a bit too high brow for the blue pill set.

Anonymous43I used to read that book while at the Laundromat in a Kansas cow town surrounded by women, men and small children clattering away in the language of their conquerors. how many of them are looters?
lol they believe in the Reconquista. speaking the language of their conquerors…lol riiiight.
I haven’t read the books but have seen them discussed on men’s sites. I want to read both books but was curious in your opinion how the books address men going their own way, going galt, I’ve heard is the expression.
#icethemout; Remember Thomas Ball. He died for your children.

I read “Atlas Shrugged” once many years ago. I liked the “Fountainhead” much better. It was more concise and not so convoluted. “Atlas Shrugged” is Ok. It reveals Hypergamy, but so did “Fountainhead.” It also is a warning about socialism an d PC culture. Sadly, that warning was not heeded and we are living in “Atlas Shrugged” America. However, I don’t like the Aristocratic worshipping that goes on with “Atlas Shrugged” though. I have read “Great American Fortunes” by Gustavus Myers and I know that most of these Industrialist Heroes were absolute scum bags. Her cast of characters is some kind of fictionalized version of Vanderbilt, Rockefeller, Carnegie, Rothschild type elites, born into wealth and power. It is not surprising since Rand herself was a mistress of Philip Rothschild. The only character I can really identify with is John Galt (who reminds me of Tesla). After I reading Ayn Rand, “Atlas Shrugged” and “Fountainhead” I have much less respect for women. That is the effect the books had on me. I learned that Hypergamy and Rape Fantasies are real. That was about 10 years ago, but it was a real red pill experience.

Money, C~~~s & Hypergamy in Galt’s Gulch.
Because just one c~~~ isn’t enough.

Because Galt doesn’t just design motors – He can also get sluts off in accordance with capitalist principles and rational philosophy.

Definitely should set off time if/when you decide to read it.
What set me off was the decline of society, and how it parallels our own in a way how much we’re taxed. And the reason I find better satisfaction doing “low brow – low pay”-work than doing something I know would pay much more (which I incidentally did a long time ago), and with much more taxation and stress! No, thank you!! It’s the struggle between the producers (us men) and the leeches (welfare state – women!). And the collapse of society. Those of us who lives MGTOW and produces just enough for to live comfortably, will live comfortably through the collapse, as we’re used to live cheaply. Those who don’t, well, who cares?

I found the character of Hank Rearden to be resolute and confident in ways a mgtow man is against gynocentric society. There was a chapter or two dedicated to him standing trial. And b~~~~ he had. If was amazing to see. I would love a mgtow man like Liberation Y or KM to speak for mgtow like that.
There is an overtone of commitment and fidelity to one’s ideology throughout the book with backdrop of parasitic forces.
I would say in 2017 you can write the book with similar vein with mgtow, feminism and the injustices without being far off the theme of the book itself- resilience.
The reason Francisco and Hank didn’t care when John started running c~~~ in her was because they already knew Dagny was a hypergamous cum slut.
Ayn Rand like to have the female characters in her novels get alot of c~~~.
Because even to an Objectivist woman: It’s all about the c~~~.
The whole ‘rational, man of the mind, producer,’ etc thing is just a hybrid way of saying that women want men with money.
Currently, the whole Amber Heard thing is no different.
She left Johnny Depp who was worth $418 million for Elon Musk who is worth $11.2 billion.
Instant appreciation of subjective vaginal valuation in accordance with standard clitoral based accounting methods.
I read it in 2007. Really good book. I was still pretty blue pill back then but I did have a healthy hatred of taxation and socialism after reading it. It also gave me a sense of urgency in wanting to accomplish something worthwhile in my life, something that I could be proud of, like Hank Rearden.

I Was into Ayn Rand’s books Before MGTOW, BM.
All of the movies based on her books were OK at that time.
Back then, there appeared to be some women around me who worked hard and were carrying their own weight. The book, “Atlas Shrugged” fed the insanity.
Looking back, it was all illusions and they were a waste of my time. All of those flesh and blood so called “Good Women” in my life all turned out to be parasites.
Before MGTOW, BM, was a time in Blue Pill Hell where my enslavement involved chasing Unicorns and believing in NAWALT.
I would escape into my Hard Cover books written by Sci Fi authors, like David Weber, who all write about the Ideal Woman. Atlas Shrugged is just another one of those books from my Blue Pill past that are all collecting dust now.
I completely missed out on the Monkey Branching behavior of the Leading lady when I was reading Atlas Shrugged back then. Appreciate your Post and the great replies it has generated.
Back then, I was more focused on the Manipulative Parasites/ Adult Children in our society who are getting all kinds of freebees and taking power away from those who build Civilization. Ayn Rand was exposing their crimes against humanity. Her personal experience with the horrors of Communism gave her some credibility.
Also, it was great to see how those of us who Create / Maintain Civilization are codependent. We are blindly giving everything away to those who will destroy it.
Now it is impossible for me to stomach any Tall Tales about “Heroines.”
And these Tall Tales of Superwomen/ Wonderwomen are everywhere! UGH!!!
Now they are remaking every story made about the ideal man and replacing him with a Womyn.
In the fan film “Star Trek Discovery” they have a women as the captain. Is there nothing sacred???
Nevertheless, an honest examination of Ayn Rand’s books and life with MGTOW eyes exposes all sorts of Gynocentric lies, misdirection and manipulation.
What happens when a man finally comprehends the cold and calculating thoughts that are going through a woman's mind, while her eyes are brimming with tears?
