College Rape Tribunals deny men the civil rights. Civil DV tribunals deny men their civil rights. Now this misandrist wants to deny men, criminally charged with rape, their right to a jury trial of their peers.

– Rape actually occurred but the woman did not wish to press charges.
– Rape actually occurred, but there was not enough evidence to convict.
– Rape did not occur, but the man was convicted anyway.

I’m not suggesting that the volume of false rape acquisitions is unacceptably high, because I believe it is. You just can’t use this stat to prove your point.

I would not at all be surprised if the percentages and rates are similar for other crimes, include the differences between judge and jury trials.

With respect, Rape is a crime. All western governments, including the United Nations…as part of human rights…have adopted the “innocent until proven guilty” legal standard.

Thus, legally…until there is a criminal conviction…anyone accused of any crime is presumed to be innocent. To use a different standard allows for prejudice to enter the equation.

Do you suggest we use a different standard? If so, what standard should we use?

You change your words. I agree that 94% of the men are innocent as defined by the law. I do not agree that 94% of the women are making false acquisitions because the data doesn’t say that.

Standard? I don’t know that you need to have a standard since we have a general idea of what’s happening. However, if you must, the obvious answer is.. how many women admitted to false acquisition or it was found the accused could not possibly have committed the rape? That would be the bear minimum number as the actual number is likely to be higher.

Either way, I’m not comfortable trusting a woman’s word when it comes to rape, unfortunately.

On a broader scale of things, I believe one of the weapons of the liberal MSM to draw conclusions from data that is misleading or that you just can’t conclude without more information. An example would be the so called pay disparity between men and women. In my opinion, just because the sentiment of your statement is correct (or I agree with it) does not mean the use of the data is correct.

I’m reminded of the Jian Ghomeshi trial in Canada. Ghomeshi beat the charges but when it was all over, feminists demanded that the ‘presumption of innocence’ not be afforded to men accused of sexual assault/rape.
