Right wing is definitely counter culture right now. And I’m not talking GOP/conservative.

Look at all those 4chan kids trolling what is now the Establishment –

Do you think that women are genuine or are they just seeking attention?

Women will and have been doing what they have always done. Do what provides to them the most privilege and advantage within a given society. People are starting to call out the more vocal parts of feminism, women don’t want to get caught up into it so they dissociate. They side with femnism when it works from them, when it does not they openly reject it.
