Kinda reminds me of a neighbour of my mums who came into a huge windfall after her grandad died. Said windfall was split between her and her brother. Brother buys a 6 year old Honda civic to replace his ailing vehicle, and invests in a small business for himself. Eventually he buys a modest home.
Sister buys a new Audi A4, and goes on s~~~loads of holidays. Fast forward 10 years, and she lives with her mum (at grand old age of 30), rents her car and works a s~~~ job. She has zilch left of the inheritance.

Yeah typical. If I won £100,000 (I own my flat already) I would purchase a decent used car 2 year old max spending an absolute maximum of £20,000.

I’d spend some money on retraining which I would do 5 days a week to speed it up. I would give myself a megre allowance every month to live on whilst studying full time. A big chunk would go into my pension or some investment for the future.

But then I aint a brain dead stupid TUNA.
