Not going to be a trip to mars anytime soon. Perhaps in another 3 or 400 years. Human physiology needs gravity to function. Until a gravity system is found for small spaces like a ship, just will not happen. The 10years it would take to get there now no one would survive.

It would take less than 300 days, (roughly 9 months), to travel from Earth to Mars. U.S. astronaut, Scott Kelly spent over 340 consecutive days in space aboard the International Space Station, 2015/2016.
