In the link above, it shows a list of many of the female astronauts of this world of the past. One of the things that I noticed about those pictures is how plain looking they are compared to the over the top female celebrities that we see right now in western pop culture. Are females really fixated with the celebrities beauty, when the great female astronauts themselves do not need to feel the need to look like larger than life as much? One of the girls in the list did not even feel the need to color her hair a solid color since she has a few white hairs of her own in the pic that is on that article also.

This is what women look like when they’re actually behaving like they’re equal to men. They’re not trading on their sexuality or trying to be treated like special snowflakes. They’re just astronauts… people… who happen to have vaginas instead of penises… doing their jobs and putting no more effort into things that are irrelevant to that effort than is required for basic social decency and nominal self expression.

This is what ALL hot women would look like if we had true gender equality. The BEST looking women… the 10s of our current society… would drop down to 7.5 or 8 at best, and average looking women would truly be average 5s. To find a woman with a perfect body and facial proportions, perfect teeth and hair, perfectly smooth skin, large eyes, and naturally blushing face with full red lips would be like finding a flawless 2 karat princess cut diamond in a bag of quartz, gravel and sand. It just doesn’t happen.

Women may be half-chimera and whole c~~~s, but at least they bust their asses to try to make themselves worthy of looking at. I’m not going to eat a fondant and frosting covered box mix cake held up by dowels and coat hangers, but I’d sure rather look at IT than at a bucket of runny s~~~.

My very first flying instructor was a woman.

Thought she was a plane Jane dyke.

Turns out she gave as good as she got … and then some.

Didn’t care about makeup or hair or fashion.

It was all about planes and her horses.

Last I heard she had her own stables with landind stip out the back for her Russian Yak air display team.

God I bet she was a great ride 🙂

Other women would go very quite when she was around … or stepped out of her bird after an airshow.

The last time I got a motorcycle certification, my instructor was female. She was confident, a skilled teacher who cared about the safety and enjoyment of her students and a consummate professional. She rode a Nightwing like it was a bicycle and had a huge ponytail of her own hair affixed to the back of her helmet. Feminine, competent AND a badass.

It would have been an honor to trade shots and war stories across the table with her. But I’m still not getting married 🙂

Promoting anyone based on their race, gender, ethnicity or relationships rather than their skills is unfair and, ultimately, inefficient but I’m sure men benefit from such promotions just as much as women do.

You’ve clearly got an axe to grind against women and if that’s your attachment to them, then that’s for you to live with but I say blanket dismissal of women doesn’t serve any purpose and s~~~ting on them just to be s~~~ting on them is just as silly as s~~~ting on unawakened men would be.

Calling people Uncle Toms for not being uniformly savage to all things feminine is its own brand of fascism and I’m not for it. Having said that, if you have citation that these women got onto the ISS by blowing someone or by passing a lower standard than qualified men did then sure, let’s see it and we can all have at them.

I have to believe in this because if for example just one woman exists that is not AWALT then we at least have someone worth looking up to for womankind? It gives me a sense of hope.<— not hope in my lifetime but give it a few decades maybe.

Yea who am I kidding 99% of the females don’t give a f~~~ about nasa let alone those few female hero’s.

Still I just cant 100% get behind AWALT.

Fire the flaming arrows my way all you like but I wont give up that tiny little hope even if I have given up ever expecting to meet a NAWALT in the flesh. Its not even worth looking for in my mind simply because the odds are just so stacked against finding one.

I’m staying single but I hope future generations have more NAWALT’s roaming about.

AWALT. But the exception exists because had they not chosen to fully commit to their careers they would have ended up just like the normal woman. Although its a well-known fact that men have contributed much more to astronomy than women; a woman becoming an astronaut is a feat because not many can do that; one of my cousins is at NASA; he told us that, on top of excellent academic success, it requires a lot of dedication, hard-work and superb fitness to be even considered to be able to survive in outer space. That is a feat which should rightfully be praised, be it a man or a woman. But if you ask me “hmm, so woman are not like that after all” then I’d say no, because its the difference of just a few thousand neurons between an astronaut woman and a normal woman; the rest of the (innate) brain is still the same; and it will react in the exact same way a woman’s brain would react to every thought it processes.

There were a few women involved, I think most notably the person who programmed the onboard computers (such as they were).

Get these same women in a relationship with you and you will see how fast they turn into AWALT. Women can and do act professional and leave emotion out while on the job but off? Forget about it just look at the link DeepinThought posted above. I just wish more women would act professional like the examples given above while at work though. It is a shame they can do so much better but choose not too.

You seem to be under the misapprehension that all astronauts are pilots etc. They aren’t. Most women astronauts are mission specialists, which means they are scientists put on a flight specifically to manage one or more particular experiments. Sometimes you can train a pilot to do these experiments, but most often you cannot. There simply isn’t time, and honestly, it’s better that the flight crew concentrate on the flight itself rather than any experiments on the way. If you need to study slime mold plasmodia in microgravity you’re going to need to find a scientist specializing in slime molds who can also pass the physical requirements needed for orbit. Sometimes that scientist is going to be a woman, and so that’s who you send up. So she gets to be a female astronaut.

But as far as the actual mission crew is concerned she’s basically just wriggly cargo.

Nope. Quite the opposite. You have to understand what it actually means when someone talks about: “The exception that proves the rule.”

That expression uses the correct meanings of “exception” and “proof”, not what most people only think they mean. To prove something actually only means to test it, not necessarily confirm it, and exception is not the same thing as exemption, despite that many people think it is. So a proper rephrasing of that statement would be: “These female astronauts are the potentially outlier data that test the rule that All Women Are Like That.”

And what do we find when we look closely at these supposed outliers? We still find that All Women Are Like That. For all that these women are hardworking, intelligent pilots and scientists, you’d still be a fool to marry any of them. LOL if my own life depended on it, no f~~~ing way do I rely on a woman for anything. I certainly would not be willing to go into space trusting a woman at my side. The US is probably going to collapse even with the huge tech lead because our military is so compromised, and that tech gap is a lot easier to shrink than people realize.

If women are so capable, why do the oligarchs completely refuse to trust their OWN health, finances or legal rights to a woman? There are female oligarchs, usually wives or daughters, they don’t seem interested in running that experiment on themselves. You would think the oligarchs could just pick out the absolute best female candidates in each field to get service, but apparently no woman is up to their standards.
