Feeling Sorry for Some Friends

I’m new… I don’t have some crazy or amazing story like many people here have. I’ve never been in a relationship. Just never could care enough to go for it. Not a single date. There are days when I wonder about it. But then I remember that the “unicorn” doesn’t exist unless you’re using an 18th century definition, in which case, I wouldn’t want a unicorn at all because it would crush and kill me in the most unpleasant of ways.

I guess I should share a bit of what’s going on in my life as a single man. I’ve only recently been interested in reading up on feminism (its effect on culture, society, and men) when a friend started posting articles on anti-feminism. Through him, I discovered that a lot of men have already checked out. I guess I always kind of felt that I was always the odd one out (no thanks to family and friends always prodding me to get a girlfriend) until I realised that I’m not – I’m just one of a growing number of men who are simply tired of the vitriol directed against us.

Until I stumbled upon this site, I finally realised why I, out of my small group of friends, am one of the few who have a stable career and cash. Don’t get me wrong, some of my female friends are quite nice, but they grew up ingrained with the philosophy that they’re empowered to do anything and should get anything simply because they are a woman. They don’t even give guys they date a fighting chance but lament that they want kids, that they’re going to die as an old, single cat lady. One of them was dating a really nice engineer. But she dumped him because he couldn’t cook or do chores. Yet, that same month she was considering leaving him, he bought a condo unit in a fairly nice area all on his own. He was going to have to learn to cook and to do chores anyway. But no, he doesn’t even get a chance.

They also don’t develop at least a career to support themselves. They desire jobs that don’t exist unless you’re willing to start from the bottom. One has finally given up on such a prospect and is only now starting from the bottom to work her way up the corporate ladder. But she’s already 30. Another one can’t come to grips with reality that she simply can’t just get something without starting in a junior position. It’s sad, really. It’s one thing to despise feminism, but when you see how it affects your own friends, you want to help but you know you can’t. This whole “Women’s Rights” movement has really destroyed a lot of people and relationships including women themselves.

Oh she didn’t dump him because he couldn’t cook. She dumped him because he was “nice.” Women aren’t attracted to “nice” guys, they’re attracted to c~~~y jerks who are emotionally unavailable. But those c~~~y jerks don’t make for good fathers, husbands, or boyfriends. Women cannot ever be happy because of this.

Yep. Most women fail miserably in the work force with their useless degrees they love so much. With no qualifications and no work ethic the only thing left for them to do is trick some chump with cash into marriage. Only to refuse him sex most of the time, divorce him later and take much of his hard earned wealth.

I never feel sorry for women, they did it to themselves, female friends are worthless, they don’t build friendships they build alliances, with a set of rules, and they do nothing for you.

I’m in my early 30’s. I just say that I’m not ready whenever I’m asked. But to be fair, men want love, too… if guys find that Mrs. Right that does treat them with respect and doesn’t pull off the bad stunts, I’m sure most guys here would be quite happy to settle down. It’s just that, well, it’s so rare to find anyone like that nowadays and too risky to give it a shot. You only need to be burned once to become scarred.
