The article is a throwaway but I liked this bit of introspection before they started getting her opinion on things.

Good point. A woman must always have problems to get stressed over. Getting stressed over what could be improved is what dives them to seek security, popularity and a good lifestyle above all and to demand men give them it. It was nice of her to admit that beautiful women don’t worry about being a good person. At least until the beauty fades. She just proved the hot/crazy matrix. The hotter they are the crazier they are. Honey, you feel invisible because you have wasted your entire life only worrying about your looks. You never became a decent human being. No wonder your marriage didn’t work out. You could have grown into a loving person and had a good marriage to carry you through your “golden years”, but you didn’t.

I’ll add to this that it also shows that women need men much more than a fish needs a bicycle. I for one am very content to be invisible. I didn’t talk to anyone on Thursday, and only a couple of people on Friday and Saturday. And I’m totally content with that. Most women can’t stand being invisible, while most men are perfectly fine with it. Because I count on myself, women count on other people. There’s a reason they can’t stand to be alone.

The real essence of regret is the entitlement beautiful women grow accustomed to and once the beauty depletes she is bankrupt. But the entitlement stays. Her real war isn’t with her age – its with people’s perception of her as less than anything she was perceived at 20.

At least she has had the attention and earnings from her beauty to now realize the stark difference.

They all need drama. Unnecessary drama. Keeps the brain from having time to accidentally finding their real personal problems and doing some self analysis that might uncover unpleasant thing about themselves, and that cant be because they are always right and its men who are wrong and assholes.

This. They grow accustomed to the advantage in life that beauty gives them. It becomes such a natural part of their life that don’t realize it. The logic goes away and they think that people (men) are just that nice to all women. Or stare and are creepy to all women. They don’t realize that their hotness gets them almost everywhere in life.

Until it doesn’t anymore. THAT is why a beautiful woman dies twice: because they don’t have the self-awareness to realize that men fall all over themselves to be nice to them BECAUSE they are hot. Cause / effect. Simple logic.
