I wanted to get a general idea of how MGTOW feel about death.

I don’t fear my own death. I certainly don’t want to die, but if I died tomorrow I’d be perfectly fine with it. I have no particular attachment to life. I’ll continue to live and get as much enjoyment out of life as I can. But when the time comes, it comes. Whether that’s tomorrow or 60 years from now, it doesn’t really make a difference to me.

I treat death like the inevitable s~~~ I’ll have to take after eating. I don’t dread having to take a s~~~. I just take it. Whether that’s 5 minutes after eating or 5 hours, I’m going to take a s~~~ so it doesn’t matter to me when I end up taking it.

I don’t understand people’s fear of death. 100 years from now, 7 BILLION people will be dead. Everything that’s alive right now on the ENTIRE PLANT will be dead within 120 years (excluding some plant life – though the vast majority of plant life will be dead by then too). Everyone has to die eventually.

A lot of people say they want to make a difference in the world, but the truth of the matter is the VAST majority of people have no more purpose than tree fungus. They just exist, just like tree fungus. Myself included. I have no real desire to change the world so I probably won’t. If I died right now it wouldn’t affect anything. And the few people that would give a s~~~ if I died wouldn’t be around in 100 years anyway.

You can have whatever religion you want to have, but the truth is we’re not that special. We’re no different than tree fungus. And I have no fear of dying. I may not WANT to die, but that’s just a natural instinct for survival. The truth is, if you died, you’d be dead anyway so you wouldn’t give a s~~~. It’s not like you can die then regret dying later. You’re dead.

A lot of people say that they want to do a bunch of things before they die. You know, visit the grand canyon, go to a Buddhist monastery, do some skydiving, etc. I have no such desires. My only goal is to be happy, whatever that takes. I don’t see the purpose to doing a bucket list because you won’t give a s~~~ once you’re dead.

I think your goal in life should be to be happy, not to acquire a bunch of s~~~ or do a bunch of things. Now if acquiring a bunch of s~~~ and doing a bunch of things is what makes you happy, then go for it. But I think the happiness should be the goal and you should do whatever it takes to get that happiness.

I p~~~ on death. I was married once, for 10 1/2 years. I was seconds away from self immolation to stop my agony. Any other life experience pales in comparison.

In my youth the thought of death terrified me but you’re right eventually we all have to go and really the universe will continue to move on with or without us. I tell you what though I f~~~ing hate those people who think the world owes or revolves around them and they’re usually the snowflake kind.

My thoughts exactly. I enjoy being alive and Im lucky, the thought of all this ending and just blackness terrifies me. Maybe its the fear of the unknown? Sometimes thinking about it has jolted me awake at night, in cold sweats with my adrenaline flowing. Othertimes when there’s something on the car radio about death Ive had to turn it off. Like I’m in denial and only living in the now.
And maybe that fear is why religion is a coping mechanism for many?
However when I think relationally, theres only two things that are guaranteed… taxation and death. But the rich and powerful can’t cheat death.

I think awareness of death is worse .i.e dying in hospital, under the wheels of a f~~~ing truck etc…. Death itself doesn’t scare me, we all gotta go sometime.

If you think about it, we face the cousin of death via sleep everyday, and given the fact that the universe is billions of years old, the experience of death will be similar to before being born — a state of nothingness with no consciousness.

I heard a radio talk show host once say he believes when we pass on we become part of everything – maybe. Like the old Blood Sweat and Tears song says “if theres peace you find in dyin then- let the time be near”

    Very nicely put.

I am not afraid of death, dont want to though, but reading this is a powerful reminder about how you only have 1 shot to live so you better make something out of it.

The choices we make, not the chances we take, determine our destiny

Are you sure? As you said it we die every day as we sleep. It is “I” that dies, however something else goes on dreaming that is someone else…

Maybe we are just like that. Dreaming that I am I, and death will be waking up from the dream.

I once pondered with the ideas of a soul. I wondered why would something so free to be everywhere would want to be limited in a body…

Then I compared it with playing a computer game. We might have a game with God’s view, we can do wonderful things that defy physical laws, but what we would real like was: to be there.

So, I now compare life to totally immersive computer game, a virtual reality. Maybe when we die, we just get out of it. Then I bet we will say: “that was great! Let me go in again!”

When the big game of chess is over both kings and pawns go in the box. You sound happy and enjoy life. No better way to die I say.

    Peace is > piece.

In a way it is a good option to look at life just like a (computer) game. Kind of like this statement I read once somewhere:

“Sure enough at times life might really suck but man that graphic resolution is just incredibly mind blowing…”

Well, I said it before and I’ll stick to my personal attitude towards this topic: “I do not (any longer) fear death, but I do respect it and its existence whatever may or may not happen to me and whenever it will…”

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

The way I have always looked at it is once I die I’m not going to be around to care, so why bother worrying about it, we all have to go sometime.

I think there is more to fear in the time leading up to death than death itself. I just hope when its my time to go its quick and not some drawn out painful process.

As someone in a lot of pain a lot of the time, I have given much thought to death…I have spent a portion of my life trying to understand our existence, and tried so very hard to understand what comes next….I have studied religion after religion….I have given great thought to passed civilizations and tried to understand their beliefs about religion and death….I have come to no conclusions at all….I believe science has really done a number on religion in our time, and given that fact, there are a great amount of people suffering as have many other times in human history…Religion has given billions of humans a reason to live better lives according to each owns beliefs and what not….When we consider past wars and blame religion, I believe that to be a folly observation at it’s most inner reasoning….Simply because when you look at past wars and follow the money and power, you see something beyond religion at it’s base….It has been said only the winner gets to write the history, and I believe that there is more truth than can be understood…The stories of the defeated are never truly represented, as is the true nature of each war…All that aside, in conclusion rather, I am not afraid of death, but I do not welcome it…I am not sure what lies beyond, if anything at all…But given that no one can know what the future or death holds in store for us, it would leave one to believe that we do indeed need to strive to better our lives, our wisdom, our intelligence, our empathy towards other humans, and strive to get everything we possibly can out of each day in it’s entirety….No matter how bad off you are, as long as you are a conscience being, you can try to do more, you can strive to be better….but that is only my two pennies gents….

Men are at a time when panning for gold in a urinal has a higher probability of success than finding a faithful and loving woman, it is time to go your own way.....

One interesting thing I’ve read. From people who were clinically dead and resuscitated was they experienced the most euphoric experience when dying. One medical experts suggestion is the brain knows death is coming and releases a massive flood of endorphins, possibly to make it more comfortable and less stressful

A guy that freinds of mine worked with died . Was resusitated. He said he saw the bright light, and it was pure Joy.

I wanted to get a general idea of how MGTOW feel about death.

I used to be terrified of it… But I’m not anymore. Although I’m not ready, I am more accepting of my morality. My “heros” and those I really drew inspiration from are all gone. That got me thinking about it. But I don’t give the matter much thought.

One interesting thing I’ve read. From people who were clinically dead and resuscitated was they experienced the most euphoric experience when dying.

I have heard that several times (from medical experts) about drowning . Apparently once the “panic” phase subsides, it’s quite euphoric. But I wouldn’t want to find out. When I see a scene from a movie where someone is trapped and they know they are about to drown, I think that’s just about the most awful/helpless way to go. That would terrify the s~~~ out of me.

One minute you’re fine, and then you know you’re about to take your last breath.

    Shudders.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.
