It being fathers day and all. Post if you have one. My favorite is from The Last of the Mohicans, with a father avenging the killing of his son.
I miss my Dad today . . . . as well as a teacher of mine whom I regard as “the other dad I never had”.

“Alfred” from Batman / Dark Knight is a terrific father/son dynamic too, even though he’s the butler.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.The Last of the Mohicans, with a father avenging the killing of his son.
Reminds me of 300:
A tranquil mind is neither happy nor sad, it is uninfluenced by external conditions.
I like the scene in “Drowning Mona” when the father must tell his son that his mother is dead.
Even better was when the two of them, during the viewing, skip out of the funeral parlor early to “catch the game on T.V.”… 😀
Pretty much the entirety of “The Road” but especially the ending when the dad tells his son he has his entire heart (or similar, only saw it once but it sure made an impact). So moving.
