One of my young daughters is back for the second time after been damaged by her mother . The second time was facilitated by the family court . Yer run for cover you f~~~ing lying c~~~ f~~~s .

We went to one of my places in the rain forest / jungle . Moved silently thru as we walked to hear and find nature . We finished by sitting next to a stream in paradise lighting a small fire and listening to the water flow .

Blade – youre an great man and awesome father. Your children are lucky to have you as a parent.

"Women are directly adapted to act as the nurses and educators of our early childhood, for the simple reason that they themselves are childish, foolish, and short-sighted—in a word, are big children all their lives, something intermediate between the child and the man, who is a man in the strict sense of the word. Consider how a young girl will toy day after day with a child, dance with it and sing to it; and then consider what a man, with the very best intentions in the world, could do in her place.” Quote from Arthur Shopenhauer, 17th century philosopher

My daughter asked once, I flatly refused. She asked why and I said men don’t do that. She replied with “well so-and-so’s dad did it”. I just said, well that ain’t me. She wasn’t emotionally scarred from the disappointment.
Once, she called me because she had a flat tire at Walmart. You bet I showed up and gave her pointers as I supervised her changing her own tire. Now she knows how to change a tire. She still remembers it fondly and appreciates the education.

One of the FCD’s I was dating last year asked me if I would to to the beauty salon with her. I said why? She said she’s getting a mani/pedi and suggested I get one. I looked at her with a bewildering look. She said she goes with her father from time to time too. You’d look good with a trim and maybe a dull polish. Said, I ain’t a fruit like your dad. Does he swing both ways?
Let’s just say she wasn’t pleased with my response.

Two daughters, they asked, I always said no. My standard response: “Can we at least pretend that I’m a man?” Plenty of tea parties, playing with Barbies, other stuff you do when you have daughters. But I did draw a line at fingernail polish. In reality I suppose it’s not that big of a deal because it comes right off. But then again, if it’s not a big deal then it’s not a big deal to say no. My daughters have no emotional scars from my refusal.

Plus, I think it’s a good lesson that it’s perfectly acceptable for a man to tell them no.

Blade – you remembered the skate rink! Haven’t been back since that s~~~storm. Well, actually I did go back and talked with the manager. I asked them if they have video surveillance. they do but only keep it for 2 weeks. Lesson learned.

The guy may say that it’s the mark of a good father, but really he’s just training his daughter how to manipulate men.

I don’t have any children and never will, but on the outside chance that I changed my mind, f~~~ no I wouldn’t let a daughter paint my nails. That’s what Barbie dolls are for.

Oh and if they’re trying to defy “gender stereotypes”, then why’s he buying her nail polish in the first place?

    No, man, no…
My daughter has never painted my nail, nor do we watch dancing with the stars, or anything else. I take her to sporting events, and am raising her to know a man’s worth and how she must respect that.

Like a bird on the wire, like a drunk midnight choir, I have tried in my way to be free.
