A lot of men want to achieve some sort of greatness for social status. And social status increases their chances of mating with women. So if you were to eliminate the male libido, I wonder what kind of society we’d end up with. Probably a zombie society.

The invention of the smartphone must be the first stage of zombyism. Then the second stage will be to make men sexually impotent. I’ll bet we’ll have a society that forces boys to take prescription drugs to “tone down” their male hormones so they won’t have the natural aggression that would help them to succeed in sports and fighting to protect themselves. A female-dominated society would initially applaud this and then regret it.

With men freed from the urge to reproduce, society would be very different. Gone would be the dog-eat-dog competition and obsessive consumerism. I see a peaceful, technically highly advanced society.
