Actress Michelle Rodriguez warned that she might “say goodbye” to one of her biggest roles if women don’t play a more prominent part in the next Fast and Furious film.
For six out of eight Fast films, Rodriguez has played Letty Ortiz, Dominic Toretto’s (Vin Diesel) lover. But the star issued a stern ultimatum Tuesday.

“F8 is out digitally today, I hope they decide to show some love to the women of the franchise on the next one,” Rodriguez wrote on Instagram. “Or I just might have to say goodbye to a loved franchise. It’s been a good ride & Im grateful for the opportunity the fans & studio have provided over the years… One Love.”

Should she stay or should she go?? Will the next movie be a feminists wet dream. Will she ever find love, find out next time on Dragon Ball Z.

The irony here is there is a market for “girls with guns”. That being straight heterosexual men. The one market Hollywood refuses to pander too.

Even reading comments of men here on MGOTW forum, there are fans here whom enjoy watching/reading stories using the “girls with guns” genre.

I am a fan of the Black Lagoon anime/manga. That series is how “girls with guns” is done right.

“Girls with guns” are not for the SJW crowd. And that is why such movies are not selling at the box office. Such the Ghost in the Shell live action movie.

The problem is that Hollywood advertises such films incorrectly. They believe that they need to pander to the SJW whom will not see the movie, while insulting straight men whom would otherwise see the movie if for any other reasons than the action and eyecandy.

This is capitalism. This is about making money. This is not about making a statement.

I’m a big fan of Resident Evil and Underworld. Two chicks with a s~~~ ton of guns, killing zombies and werewolves. What’s not to love. Hollywood would be wise to pander to the men, because we are the ones who watch the movies. Women don’t watch movies like we do. If it ain’t a chick flick, they have never seen it. Ask any chick if they have ever seen Pulp Fiction, Casino, or Reservoir Dogs. The answer will always be NO!

Deadpool made over three quarters of a billion dollars at the box office. That is unheard of for a R rated movie, in a dead end release date (February).

The reason is simple. Except for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and few other films, Deadpool is the best action-comedy film made in the last three years.

F&F8’s new opening scene should be, ol’ Vinny boy cruising up route 66 in a classic convertible talking to his “new” dog (a real K9), then a cuts to a flashback of him at his now deceased former lovers funeral- cue in the emotional diarrhea- then cut back to him and the dog driving while Vinny explains how she was irreplaceable so why should he bother, so now its just “me and you pup”.
Carry on with the fast cars, stunts, guns, car chases, the occasional set of boobs on the sidewalk, some drinking, a couple “want to see something cool” schticks, more cars… you get the drift 🙂

I’m sure Megan Fox would happily take the role. Rodriguez is already in the wall stage. Movies are about marketing young, attractive women. Michelle is already past her prime.
