    I lived it. I was a bit of a Chad in High School. When I got on Facef~~~ about ten years ago in my mid thirties several married with kids ladies that I knew when I was young tried hooking up with me.

    No thanks, I passed on every one of these post wall with kids and husbands bitches to the point that they all started talking s~~~ about me… I was pretty disgusted by it all, they had collectively only gotten worse than they had been in High School in every way imaginable. If I could go back I would have sent their husbands all the dirt on them that I had.

Most independent thinkers and writers migrated to other MGTOW forums as a result of the never-ending infighting and deliberate trouble starting caused by members who were given "carte blanche" by the admin to do whatever they want.     I must admit that Facebook was my start at recovery. My family is few and far apart. Facebook had much to do with my survival. You can degrade it but I wouldn’t be alive without it.

    I guess I’ll add my 2 cents on Facebook-
    I had it while in the corporate world, and I found my time spent on it was like time sucked into a black hole and equaled nothing. I kept it around though and just wouldn’t visit it but once a month. THEN, I went to a party where I saw a friend of mine from high school- I knew this guy for over 20 years!- and I hadn’t seen or talked to him in six months, which was a long time for us.
    Happy to see him- I shook his hand and said- “Hey how are you? What you been up to, bro?”
    He looked me dead in the eye and with a straight face said- “Haven’t you seen my Facebook?”
    I thought something horrible had happened, and I said- “No. What happened?”
    He shrugged said “Nothing” and walked off.
    So, he posts everything he does, movies he goes to, meals eaten, everything, and he expected me to keep up on that stupid site and didn’t talk to me.
    So I dropped two things that day. I dropped Facebook and him. I swear, the older I get, the more people suck.
