If you are still on Facebook, why are you still on there? This is of more importance than whatever the president of the data mining firm that assisted the Trump campaign said or not. It is your data and your life? Why be on there? Whether or not they are able to get in, they are able to skim your data, find you, and then spin a package of news stuff, to spin your perspective. I actually saw someone use as tool that did similar with LinkedIn.
This may of been posted elsewhere, but it does now have a political angle, so it is here.
Get off Facebook! Why should anyone here be a meal ticket for a billionaire like Zuckerberg (however his name is spelled. I am too lazy to look it up)?

Never signed up for Facebook.

I was doing stuff with retro videogames, and trying to run tournaments. They wanted to be on Facebook, so I went on there. After years of BS, getting a pile of loose acquaintances, I just left. My retro videogame group goes on, and failed to contribute anything to my desire to do esports with retro videogames.
Here is a kicker, as I was leaving Facebook (same night), an old business contact who contributed to my losing a 401K on a business venture he botched by his BS (it was a longshot) shows up in IM chat on there, and wanted to chat. It is like, really? I told him I was leaving Facebook. I lost a pile there. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t of been exposed to the whole HYIP BS and Brad Weinman, who the SEC should investigate. Anyhow, I press on.
So, in short, get the hell off Facebook.

Does using Fake Facebook accounts count as actually being on Facebook? Fake facebook accounts are useful for annoying Feminists and Mangina’s

You are on there. You may have an agenda, but you are on there. Why are you doing this as a hobby anyhow? Does it make you money? It is likely Facebook will crack down on multiple fake accounts anyhow. When you try to annoy someone, you are engaging with them. And Feminists and the armchair activists, like to be fed that stuff for practice. And the jokes can end up taking a life of their own. Recall “Meninism”? That is now floating around as a term thrown on MGTOW, and other Red Pill Manosphere side. A joke became ammo. Seriously, I say don’t do it. But it is your own life.
Where I am now is on LinkedIn, networking for professional reasons to generate commerce, and get funding for ventures, and have where I am be something financially.

Anonymous7Years and years ago I had an account and I quickly realized how utterly retarded it was and deleted my account.
Fast forward almost a decade and the evil f~~~s ‘reactivated’ my ‘deleted’ account. I did not initiate it, just out of the blue they reactivate my stupidbook account, wanted me to login in and s~~~.
Stupidbook is pure f~~~ing evil. Stay away.
Never online with it. I searched down the corporate side and looked a the services they offer to advertisers. Fakebook is free because YOU are the product sold to advertisers. The pig on the farm thinks he has it good until the farmer shows up with a gun.

People usually ask me why. And I am quite blunt in my reasons when I tell them.
Obama’s campaign did exactly the same thing in 2012… built a huge database of potential supporters and their friends using Facebook. Everyone thought it was wonderful and made fun of the Republicans of the time for still using paper notecards.
Now the Republicans show some new media saavy and it’s all “SHUT IT DOWN!” Just goes to show the incredible left leaning bias in the media and tech industries.
And where is Zuckerberg? Probably wishing the board would fire him and get an adult to do the job.
Full disclosure: I still have a FB account. I use it to keep track of local events and promote my AV business. I never talk about anything personal or political there and I don’t have any other social media accounts.
Even then it’s probably not worth it.
THE LEFT – are f~~~ing hilarious !!!
Trump won.
The Left : no no no, he didn’t win the popular vote when measured in a single number across the whole country.
My response : So what ? that is not how it is counted, or ever has been counted. The left: no no no , RUSSIA “manipulated” the result of the election. So he didn’t really win it.
My response: Huh? Did they hack the vote counting computers ? no. Did they somehow add a whole bunch of Trump votes that were illegitimate ? no. So only Americans voted. And the votes were all counted legitimately. So what exactly did these “Russians” do ? Oooooh … they put Bogus propaganda all over the internet (not that the internet is not already full of that s~~~). But then – for whatever reasons – voters formed opinions and voted. Nobody had a gun to their heads. Are Americans really so stupid and naive ? And what sort of big-brother system is being proposed in which – a voters opinion is not going to be accepted if the opinion was not formed by a method sanctioned by the thought-police…. reading too much s~~~ on the internet invalidates a US citizens right to vote?!?!? Yeah – in my view – whatever the Russians did or didn’t do , they are in the clear. The Left : It was all caused by DATA MINING of FACEBOOK data.
My Response : Hahahahahahahahaha…. The data is there. People mine it . People use their conclusions from that to “target market”. If you didn’t know that then you’re an idiot. I don’t use FB and I don’t plan to start. You morons are just looking for another reason to not accept the result of the election. The bottom line is – people formed opinions. Then they either decided to vote or not. The ones who voted expressed their opinions at the ballot box. The votes were counted fairly. In a counting system that has been in place for many decades… BUT THE COMPLAINT — now seems to be – about “how it was” that people formed their opinions…. how they were marketed to….For f~~~s sake! Just accept the result. And allow the citizens to keep their freedom to form whatever opinion they want, however they choose to form it.
It is 2018 for f~~~s sake – I thought we were all now pretty much immuned from marketing / advertising campaigns. Is it only me ?

This. They’re just not individual enough to leave it behind.
I was a little late on the train – I only deleted my account last month but best thing I ever did.
The people that WANTED to stay in touch with me soon reached out. The rest, I couldn’t care less.

I’ve wrote about it before on these forums…
I deleted my FB and my LinkedIn in 2009 when going through divorce, on the advice of my lawyer. He had seen many of his clients hammered in the courts because their opponent showed their pretend-fantasy-professional career (linked-in) and their prentend-fantasy-leisure life ( FB) implied they were doing better financially than the court documents they were submitting. Deleting FB and LI one of the best things I ever did.I deleted my FB and my LinkedIn in 2009 when going through divorce, on the advice of my lawyer.
That’s interesting mate. LinkedIn has been p~~~ing me off lately too.
It was ‘required’ at a lot of places for a long time. Now it’s like a corporate FB and another waste of my time.
I may do the same.

What exactly is the “adult” part of Facebook? It is a place for people to automate and scale their personal lives, overestimating how many people actually give a damn they exist, so they can end up being a bunch of social exhibitionists, who presume they have a larger audience than they do. It is a place to post cute sayings, cat pics, personal pics, and your rants, presuming masses give a damn. You can also run a group on there for a particular interest. All this is teen stuff, just easier than MySpace, so it caught on. It is a time sink that will suck your life out of you.
LinkedIn is close, but geared more towards business.
On a social media note, I managed to get my Meetup group on the first page for Google search for my area and topic. I do this repeatedly. It helps to pick an obscure topic no one cares about actually. Well, people do, but only people in the industry know about the particular name or will look for it.

Zucker’s ladyfriend is a Chinese nationalist. You really want your data being handed over to the Chinese? That’s enough reason to get off that s~~~.
I have it but I do not post very much on it and keep it private and only add people I know and who are friends as a form of communication nothing more.

I get dumbfounded looks like they cannot process a world outside Facebook.
