Guys I’ve seen this a few times now. I think it would help to take a step back and look at it again.

This thread is about hiring escorts and there is nothing wrong about that. He should have done an introduction first yes.

MGTOW don’t necessarily swear off sex. We all know that. Funny thing is that was a misconception put about by a Daily Mail article; that MGTOW is a part of the mens rights movement and are a group of men who have sworn off sex with women. Neither of these things are true, MGTOW are neither part of the mens rights movement nor swear off sex forever (necessarily). MGTOW is most narrowly an anti-marriage position and is more broadly about male self-actualization (best articulated buy Rolo Tomassi in my view).

Whether a man in the process of self-actualization will continue to have sex with women, or even have some non-married relationships with women is, of course, entirely up to him.

It was a shame because I have been with escorts before and its actually an interesting question. What ARE the risks, medical and legal? Its worth discussing and when I saw the OP I was looking forward to the discussion.

There’s an attitude there but it isn’t that bad. He got jumped on and I’ve seen this happen a few times.

I honestly say in all humility (I haven’t posted all that much here) that some people need to cut other people a bit more slack. We are trying to spread awareness and broaden this perspective and jumping on people like that doesn’t help. As another person said; things tend to escalate VERY quickly.

MGTOW is and should be a broadly based perspective and obviously should include people who would consider hiring escorts.

I don’t like having to post this but from my point of view it is necessary.

The OP wasn’t pro or anti-prostitution it was comparing the relative merits of it with short term non-commital relationships with women; an interesting question.

Maybe the thread can be saved and we can discuss the hiring of escorts. Anybody done it? I have. Twice, in Amsterdam. Not great experiences really and very expensive. However the thread starter did make the valid point that pornography gets boring. It does.

The law in the UK with escorts is confused. Its legal to hire but not if they have been “coerced”. How do you know if they have. You can’t. Your best bet is to make sure they are British and so haven’t been traficked.

Any opinions on the medical risks?

Do other people think that 150 euros an “hour” is a good deal. It isn’t by the “hour” by the way (for the young bucks) thats a bit of a conceit.
