She discusses with the reporter how the women who run domestic violence shelters created the notion that patriarchy was and is the root cause of domestic violence as they get millions of dollars of handouts each year.

Also notice at the end how she mentions that lesbian relationships are the most violent of all partnerships. I’ve always thought that it’s easier to scapegoat a man and thus the statistics would be bias from the start.

Also many women were rejected from the shelters if they had problems with alcohol or if they had a history of violence so as not to tarnish the ‘victim’ identity of the shelters.
