The story – a guy 5 years ago goes to a nightclub picks up, has sex in alley behind nightclub. The girl was a virgin. Willingly went with him. Sex was doggy style.

She cried (next day) that it was non-consent and therefore rape. It went through the courts for 5 years including jury and judge-only and appeal. The final result – he’s off free. They found: she didn’t consent, but he could not have reasonably realised that. That is : him believing there was consent was a reasonable thing for him to think at the time.

So – now the ABC (government funded ) – is doing a stitch up job on the poor guy. They want a law change such that it must be “ENTHUSIASTIC CONSENT”..

OMG !! FFS !! Aside from the fact that 90% of sex in marriage would be classed as rape under that definition, how the f~~~ is that ever going to be determined ??? and seriously, you got to judge whether you “have consent”, but also “the level of enthusiasm”.. WHAT A JOKE !

The best thing the guy has done – is to REJECT all requests from the ABC to give his side of the story. There is absolutely zero upside for him to do that. Right now – he is innocent and free. ABC are doing a blatant stitch-up job on him and sob story for the girl involved to garner sympathy for her.. Well done young man – you made correct decision NOT to give your side of the story !!

Any physical contact with a female is legally by default a ‘rape’ unless you can prove consent. And there is no legal way of absolutely proving consent.
