This is a show that focuses on the work lives of two LA country paramedics.
The show ran from 1972 to 1977.
While it focused on two white paramedics the show was filled with numerous diverse supporting characters. There were strong female nurses, black doctors, Hispanic firefigters, black cops.
Good stories and the good guys always won.
No SJWs. People worked hard and got along. In the 1970s!!!

I watched every episode of that show. To this very day, every time I hear or see a fire truck I think of that show, “Squad 51, Engine 51, Two-eleven in progress.”
And yes, it was a wonderfully diverse cast.
I remember the show. .it was really good. .especially back then.
Thanks for the memories Jan !
CHIPS was pretty cool too..California Highway Patrol as a kid I used to love it!
Plus there wasn’t much else on TV to watch! !!How about Barney Miller? There was quite a lot of diversity in the squad room. Chano was Hispanic, Yemana was Japanese, Harris was African American and Wojo was Polish. Fish was old and they even had a female detective (Wentworth) played by Linda Lavin. They even had 2 gay regulars who were not detectives. One was called Marty and I don’t know what his partner was called. The show ran from 1974 to 1982 and despite the diversity everyone got along.
Feminism isn't about equality with men, it's about leverage over men.

Good TV.

Anonymous42AND THEN CAME MAUD! F~~~!
Hey, Barney Miller was diverse because it was a New York City police department show. .pretty accurate for Manhattan. .
.
Now I just have to unremember Maude…why mgtower why????That was my FAVORITE show back when I was a kid! I remember getting excited every time it came on! I made a promise to my mother at the tender age of six that I would one day become a firefighter. I did the old “cross my heart and hope to die if I don’t become one!”
She passed on from poor health when I was eleven years old. I eventually recovered from that childhood trauma and had the dream childhood of living with my grandparents in a small town.
I never had a clue of what I was going to do after high school. I had totally forgotten my vow to my mother from years back. I tried a little college. It bored the f~~~ out of me and I never could decide on a career path.
As my GPA slipped and my interests turned to partying, my father encouraged me to apply to the Fort Worth Fire Department. With a tremendous amount of luck and hard work, I made the cut. I wish that my mother could have shared in that experience. Upon graduating from the Fire Academy, I reflected on that distant past in my childhood. A show called “Emergency!” placed the seed of the career that I enjoyed.
Notice how I imply “enjoyed,” rather than “still enjoy?” I made some really bad self-destructive decisions after my divorce that I will regret for the rest of my life. Those decisions impacted my career and caused me to lose it. Although I take full responsibility of my actions as a man, had I not ever married the psychotic bitch from hell, perhaps I would not have lost that career.
Yes, that career kicked ass for 18 years of my life. Not a day goes by that I don’t actively hate and loathe myself for being so f~~~ing stupid by giving the adventure of being a firefighter up. It wouldn’t be fair to call it a “job.” Jobs don’t kick ass like being a firefighter does.
Not all is bad in LosPuke’s world though. My brother firefighters talked me into keeping my money in the retirement fund. I’m so glad that they did because in exactly 3 years (Nov. 2019), I start drawing my pension. I will never have to work again if I live modestly and within my means. That is not to say that I will stop working. It just means that I have the option to. Having options is power. Marrying c~~~s is losing all options to be happy.
Yes, she will get monthly checks from my pension fund for the rest of her life since Texas is a community property state. Since we were married only 5 years, it won’t sting terribly bad. But for the life of me, I can’t recall ever seeing her on a fire truck with me at work. Yet, she will get about $400/month for the rest of her life.
Since discovering MGTOW, I have become somewhat of a minimalist and loner. I am so much happier. I have cash in my wallet. My domicile is peaceful. I am coasting for the next 3 years until I start getting my check. I can be happy alone. I AM happy alone!
Future plans include snow skiing my ass off in Colorado for the rest of my life. Every now and then I might hop on a plane to Grand Cayman to scuba dive. Anything is now possible now that the shackles have been broken by MGTOW. I’m free!
Sorry for the wall of text. Jan, you just brought back some dear memories of my childhood. Life was great back in the 70’s and 80’s.
