Right. Sure. In anything remotely close to real life, the woman didn’t even have jumper cables, let alone know how to place the leads on the terminals, how to ground the circuit correctly, or trying to jump a diesel truck with an electric toaster.

The snow plow one kills me.
Lets see…
1. Plow is on the road. which means it was operating initially. = Not a “battery” problem per se, but alternator/regulator which with all the new electronics will drain said battery because it is not charging correctly (the f~~~ing internal combustion engine will still run without electrical power.) which leads to a dead battery.
2. Both are newer model vehicles, which means it was boosted incorrectly. There is a remote positive post for direct electricity to the damn starter folks.
3. As a “service” vehicle, the driver would have had a damn portable charger pack on board as well as first aid/winter gear/FFE/PPE, access to recovery via radio comms, and another plow would have been reasonably near.
4. Shall we discuss the gauge of the bloody cables and battery size vs cranking power needed for a 2.0l 4 cyl compared to a v8 or higher?
