I was recently talking to a general contractor I’ve hired for some work about doing business under Trump instead of Obama. Somehow the conversation shifted to meetoo. He casually told me he just fired his last female employee. She was flirting too much with his subs (he hinted she was f~~~ing some of them) and he didn’t want to face a meetoo lawsuit down the road. He’s now running a man only business and intends to keep it that way, permanently, except he’s having some trouble finding a male replacement for her.

I foresee a boom in demand in the near future for male business managers and other light duty office positions traditionally held by women as more and more female liabilities are quietly shuffled out of one company after another.

Scouting is dead. It has been for a long time. It’s been hemorrhaging members for years, and now it’s barely a twitching corpse.

Girl Scouts are finished because all the girls with any drive will be rushing to the “Boy” Scouts. they’re little more than cookie whores at this point.

“Boy” Scouts are dead because boys aren’t signing up thanks to all the girls joining. They’ve seen that season of Survivor and want none of it. And, of course, it’s only a matter of time before the false accusations and lawsuits start happening.

Small-mid size companies can do this, and can’t afford the dead weight, but the larger companies aren’t going to be able to do that. They just have to factor in the dead weight and protecting themselves.

From what I’ve seen, women are taking more and more clerical or low skill level jobs. Like retail and restaurants. Men are starting to avoid these jobs, or get out as fast as they can. I don’t think that’s entirely because the men and these jobs have to work with women, but because men realize there is no future income in these jobs. Women, on the other hand, don’t look at a job as their future income since that’s what marriage is for.

Small businesses provide the vast majority of jobs. However the size of the company isn’t what matters here. It’s how it’s organized and how much oversight (a.k.a. meddling) it exposes itself to. I have a bit of an advantage what with being a “minority owned” company, but not that much.

It’s becoming more and more apparent that hiring women for any reason is the opposite of protecting yourself. I had to learn the hard way that female employees are nothing but lawsuits waiting to happen and a poor use of your human resources dollars in the meantime.

So it’s a choice between turning down female applicants and running the risk of being sued, or hiring them (because “muh diversity”) and definitely eventually being sued. In the long run, it’s a lot easier to simply find male applicants who are more qualified (no problem there), document that, and rub their lawyers noses in it whenever one complains.

A lot of that is because it’s difficult to justify in court not hiring women based on their lack of qualifications for positions that require zero qualifications. Fortunately for me I’m not exactly running a McDonald’s here.
