Just like Coltaine said about common interests, if an A.I. is able to have the same interests as you, why would you need a woman who only finds interest through securing a goal of another sort? Even if her body values yours, that’s a recipe for an affair, not a relationship.
Add to the fact that all her pursitis are temporary, while men tend to get attached to things, this simply brings forth the need to evolve our mating habits. Reproduction really is not our problem. And there happens to be a very bright silver lining for being in a minority.
Now this seems small at first. But the world wide impact of this can’t be understated.
Poverty goes away. Rather, the illusion of poverty. A happy man at 35k a year is just as happy as a man at 250k a year. If women did in fact find value in men and love, then the need to gain wealth or spend it on frivolous things just goes out the window for men.
In fact, if we are being ruthlessly honest, if an A.I. actually had a desire for things, men would often fulfil it with the notion of the positive feedback. This oddity is not to be understated. Say for example, A.I. is barred from working in typical human occupations. That does not affect women’s jobs. Or rather the availability of work. So what becomes of the relationship dynamic between men and women? That’s the REAL sore part on womens futures. Like it or not Sex and youth is what drives men to work for women. Take out both of those, and then the only thing that is left, is the risk left to have a relationship of any kind with a woman. However, challenge is no longer a problem. In fact, its women who will have to start competing for attention. Problem is how?
They can offer reproductive access for what seems like for free. But already know that there is no free lunch. In fact, its going to be dire for women at this point since they know have to compete with eugenics. So Surrogacy may be the only option for them. And then again, that is still a risk for men. THe artificial womb will in fact be superior in outcomes to surrogacy.
So women can be mothers, but again the COST and the RISK. Women are in fact going to have to deal with the uneasy past of their actions. Companies are going to make it a selling point to outline EVERY SINGLE BAD THING about WOMEN. Notwithstanding the idea that women are no longer trained or capable,we have a Laundry list of negatives of women such as:
1. Mental disorders
2. Genetic vulnerability
3. Aesthetics
4. Genealogical traits
5. Her family and legal history
6. etc. etc.
The list of negatives simply could fill an entire encyclopedia.
