So, I guy and his girlfriend are at a casino, playing on HIS money, taking turns pushing the button on the machine. She pushes the button and wins $100k. Turns out it his HER money because SHE pushed the button. Not the guy who actually gambled the money.

Look, gender aside, whoever is gambling the money is the one who wins. Period. If your friend is gambling and letting you take turns so you are both entertained on half the money, then it’s up to the friend to throw you a few bucks or not if you happen to push the button when the jackpot hits.

What actually disgusts me the most isn’t about the women thinking that she is entitled to the money. She’s a chick, it’s what they do. What disgusts me is that this is just one more example of how stupid the laws in the US have become. I love the comments after the story. “So, I should just run around the casino pushing the button on people and then demanding the money if I win?” Well, apparently yeah you should.

Oh yeah, she would have sued for half. I just really hope they didn’t withhold any taxes on this. She’s going to owe 25-28% of it to the IRS an another 10% to the state of California. If they didn’t withhold the taxes, you just know she will spend it all and owe $35k at the end of the year. Then she’ll probably sue the guy for the money because he didn’t tell her she would owe taxes….

Wasn’t there something in the news not too long ago about some guy who’s ex tried to claim part of his lottery winnings? He won after they had broke up but she claimed that the ticket was purchased with “joint” funds.

Reason number #496,875,762 to just stay the f~~~ away from women…

I don’t think I’ve heard that story but it doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. Remember another where some broad broke up with her man, then some time later he won the lottery and she tried to get back together with him, saying she knew it was true love after all or some bs like that? Yeah, somehow I doubt she would have said that had he not won the lottery.

If I were going to have someone taken out, it would be the idiot that wrote that law. It’s one thing for the girlfriend to be a greedy bitch, but she SHOULD have been laughed out of court, not awarded all of the money.
