The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 49% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance

The first lady’s public approval rating hit 57 per cent in a new CNN poll, up ten percentage points from mid-January.

———–Really saying something with every democRat and at least 1/4 of the republicans daily attacking through the media. If the media would do a day of real news of what the Don has done for the economy his number would be 70% or more.

Donnie always had a high floor, not a low ceiling as they spent so many months in 2016 and 2017 trying to suggest.

Unless he falls ill or decides to not run, I’m betting he’s easily a two-term president, and whoever runs against him in 2020 is just going to be a throwaway sacrifice from opposition parties.

At this point, it seems those opposing President Trump and his supporters would rather burn the country down than allow him a second term.

They have gone full Captain Ahab.

If they were intelligent they would throw the 2020 election to him and focus on 2024 election. For example, it would be a waste for Kamala Harris to run in 2020 against President Trump. But, she would win in 2024.

We don’t know that. There’s a paradigm shift happening and IIRC, Kamala is kind of a 90s Clintonian. She would certainly have better chances in 2024 than in 2020.

She is likely the only person on the democrat bench, under 60, whom had a chance of winning.

    Speaking of the 1990’s

Having the First Lady be more popular than the President is the best situation the Administration wants. The First Lady can elevate or drag down a President.

I agree that President Trump has a high floor.

Now, in the 1990’s, people either did not care, or liked Bill Clinton as President. The mean issue was with Hillary, as First Lady, and all the dirt which seems to cling to her and not on President Bill Clinton.

People loved Bill. They lined up to suck his c~~~. He was cool and memetic (before that was a thing). He had references everywhere as the “cool” president (opening credits in 4 seasons of Animaniacs, for example). But people were rightfully terrified of Hillary.

I’m not saying she’s killed anybody personally, but there was that dude who shot himself in the back of the head 12 times and then dragged his own body into the woods.
