Or why is it that many times the real mother will not let go of her son, trying to bite away any women “he brings home”. Why do mothers interfere so badly in the marriages of their sons.

I’ve seen this so many times and it’s one of the number one causes of divorces here in Germany.

Married 10 years now, and married late in life. It doesn’t quell your lust at first, then eventually the drag of not having sex, not being able to screw around with whomever you want, will drive the lust from you… or at least drive it down into suppression. This is also a huge negative in the relationship, as the wife knows they have broken you now. Though I haven’t made the break yet, the firsthand accounts here all indicate you can get it back after the break from the relations~~~… but it is likely much better to avoid losing it in the first place.

The short answer, today’s marriage does not free you from lust.

Long answer, I can think of 5 things that can suppress the feelings of lust.
1 – Regular release. If you are not denied that which you crave, then you may no longer have such a strong desire for it. Modern marriage fails at this since you are usually denied regular release. Porn wins at this since it never has a headache. I wouldn’t say this plan is foolproof though as it can actually increase your lust in some ways/cases.
2 – Virginity. If you’ve never had sex (or even masturbated maybe), then you do not know what you’re missing. You may still want it, but probably for other reasons.
3 – Bad experiences. If you’re first or recent experience with sex was bad, you’ll crave it less. This is where modern marriage wins. However, most have enough other experience to know it isn’t always going to be this bad.
4 – Lack of stimulation – If women are covered up, or simply not present, men are not stimulated as much and therefore experience less lust.
5 – Negative stimulation. If you’re wife becomes fat and lazy to the point where you don’t want to touch her, or if you’re constantly around things/images that kill the feelings…you’re less likely to feel lust.

So if you think about past society…Women were covered up…No sex before marriage…Regular sex during marriage…No porn. I’d guess lust occurred much less then it does now. Today’s society and marriage., by contrast, seems to encourage lust more then discourage it.

I started a new job a few years ago and walked into my new bosses office where he had 2-3 other old guys bulls~~~ting with him about random s~~~.. The ONLY advise the boss gave me……. DO NOT GET MARRIED.. WHAT EVER YOU DO. DON”T DO IT….. The other guys of course agreed.. the 3 old guys all married and miserable in marriages that they can’t get out of but are in successful positions in their careers.
Not that I needed his advice, it was just really funny especially being a new mgtow at the time.

EVERY married man I know is f~~~ing miserable because he is married. Thank god I didn’t fall for the trap.

And I can add another sobering number to that. As a salesman and service technician I had about 4000 customers, meaning at least 1000 households over a time span of about 20 years.
Most of my customers were married and you could tell from the tension in the air, the way they talked and the remarks they made about each other, that at least 95 percent were more or less unhappy in their lives.

In all these years I only met ONE couple that were about 70 years old and laughed all the time. And they treated each other in a very respectful way. But only 1…(sad fact)

And I happend to do my job almost exclusively in the upper-middle class because the lower income households normally preferred cheaper stuff.

That was so sobering to me that I don’t need government statistics to know that there is definately something wrong with the system.

Never waste your life away. Never voluntarily put on a ball and chain.

Thousands of times I drove home in my VW-Bus after a job, and it felt like flying. Or the liberating and uplifting feeling of being freed from a spell…

Been married for 28 years now and can catigoricaly state that it was the most ill informed dumbass decision of my life.

Sex life went from 3-4 times a week to 4 times a year pre/post marriage.
