Dodged another kind of bullet

As I have posted I have an M.A. in Philosophy and had started on a PhD but didn’t finish. I didn’t finish because I got sick in the second year and when I got better I decided what I liked about the idea of being a professor, teaching, was overshadowed by all the other academic bulls~~~. It took close to a decade to eventually find a stable career I liked, which is banking.

There have been times I regretted this decision but not now! Good god with all the “rape s~~~” SJW’s liberal bulls~~~ etc… I couldn’t stand it. I almost feel sorry for anyone in that position except they did it to themselves.

I post this for several reasons:

1.) Don’t have any regrets. Its easy to present yourself with some fantasy, ideal situation, but you never know how things might have played out had you chosen differently. despite spending a decade living hand to mouth and quitting s~~~ty job after s~~~ty job things worked out for the best.

2.) I am probably a-political or perhaps a libertarian but once called myself a liberal. Maybe I still am a liberal but I do not consider for a moment that anything passing “liberalism” today reflects anything I ever believed in. Today’s liberal is an insult to anything I might have once believed.

3.) Trump 2020!

I think the “liberals” of today are abusing the word “liberal”. Originally it meant something that “let people do what they want as long as they don’t harm others”, and I could agree with that. But what the left is doing (all over th world) is just plain stupidity. I hate politicians.
