Doc's Four Month Road Trip

Hi all,

A while back I mentioned that I’m taking off on a road trip… basically the house I was renting was sold out from under me so I’ve packed up the jeep and the teardrop trailer and am f~~~ing the f~~~ off.

The plan is to drive east toward meetings with family in New Orleans, Panama City Beach and parts beyond, then tool around North Florida for a while, revisit the site of my adolescent summer camp in North Carolina, then head back west and end up in Wyoming for the solar eclipse in August.

After that, who knows?

Along the way I’ll be getting my HAM operator’s license, learning to SCUBA, observing the night sky, stopping at caves, science facilities and water parks, collecting resource consumption data, making videos about random s~~~ I encounter and generally looking for cool things to do and interesting people to hang out with.

At risk of outing myself, I’d like to share with you guys the links to my Facebook (yeah, I know, but it gets the job done), YouTube and Patreon pages… just in case anyone is interested and wants to jump in with some comments.

I know operational security is an issue for many MGTOW… I’ve got over a 1000 followers already on the FB page so if you join in and don’t mention how you found it, nobody (not even me) will be able to link you from there to here.

Wow that’s exciting!

The first chance I get , I hope to drive route 66 all the way to Chicago. Been wanting to do it for ever. It will probably take that long before I actually do it, but it’s on the list to dos.

I am a little bummed we didn’t connect as I have not visited your town in a long time. I imagine being uprooted without your consent is life throwing a monkey in the wrench, but I imagine only good things will come of it.

If you should return after your 4 months and are back where you are, I will be able to take off for a weekend when it suits me. It’s been 3 years since I have known what a “weekend” is.

Thanks to whoever gave me my 10,000th star. Time to hide that number, I suppose.

I suspect Tower’s got about 50,000 by now 🙂

I’ll be here throughout the trip and will post updates that are interesting. Meanwhile if anyone’s planning to be in Wyoming for the eclipse in August, let me know and we can try to do a back country meet up.
