Since MGTOW don’t give a s~~~ what women think about them..

..Has this changed the way you portray yourself in public?

I’ve started growing my beard and hair to look like the guy in my profile pic.

I still have good style, and I would never let myself go to the store looking like a guy who’s wardrobe consists mostly of goodwill clothes.

I’m working out and dieting better than ever before, and now that I don’t care what women think of me I get distracted less easily, and keeping my motivation high seems to be a lot easier.

Brother, we need to stick together.

I’m growing my beard too. I still shower everyday and comb my hair, I wear durable functional clothing for my hobbies. I shine my boots for work, just because I did it for so long in the Army. I’m actually better looking than the manginas who have no time to take care of the little things

Yeah, my joke is that I want to outlive my ex so I can p~~~ on her grave! But seriously, now I want to be in my best shape so I can have a fun life. Travel, play sports, whatever. It isn’t so much how I look but just to be able to be active. I don’t care anymore if it makes women notice. It’s totally for me and how I want to live my life.

An interesting point and question… and good extension of what “WanderingMGTOW” asked yesterday about motivation.

I was actually going to add (when he mentioned teeth) that YES, I go to the dentist 5 times a year for a cleaning – instead of 2 or 3. I have nice teeth and take care of them. There is something about a dental cleaning I absolutely love. I instruct my dentist to reach into my gums and pull out my SHOES. I actually MOAN when Im in the chair and he thinks it’s because I don’t like it. But I love it.

Drilling – on the other hand – I can do without.

On effort to “look good” yes. There is something to said about making and effort and being checked out by a single mother with a stroller and 2 screaming kiddies. I quite enjoy that when it happens.

My wardrobe doesn’t “try” though. No slogans on shirts. Not even crisp dress shirts. Just “business casual” and polished shoes and a good jacket. No ripped or tattered jeans. Stuff like that.

I’m just conscious. Shave close. But I don’t cut my hair often enough. I cut it, and then I let it grow until I need to cut it again, so it’s not an obsession as much as say, caring about what I eat.

I noticed (and maybe it’s just me) even if you don’t *TRY*, if you’re a man over 40 and you’re not a blob, women will notice and do a double take. It doesn’t even require that much effort.

The extent of my effort is perhaps… looking …. “well put together”.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

I keep myself in decent physical shape but like Hitman. The ladies look, but I will not let one near me.

I stay clean shaven and well groomed. I do have business attire, but right now I’m wearing a kilt. That garment works well in hot climates, and I don’t give a f~~~.

I had one ask me for my phone number as I was carrying my paddle board up to the rinse station last weekend. I guess those tight fitting water clothes I wear that the beer gutted beach drunks mock might just be sexy. SUP is a total body workout.

This s~~~ used to never happen to me pre-MGTOW. The power of ignoring is real. I’m glad I was once a nice guy blue pill sap. It kept me from getting divorce raped.

True on being over 40 and not a blob. Blue pillers think I’m crazy for shooting down these women.

Yes. Modern suits for the office, fitted jeans for the weekend. Everything’s tailored. Workout 5 days/week, watch what i eat, etc.

I don’t really care about how women respond. I do it for how i look in the mirror. I enjoy looking good.

Most of my shopping trips are for either hardware or lumber and building materials so I really can’t wear anything very new even when I go to town. I really don’t dress up much most days.
Living in my own little world and following an isolated routine away from most of society, I have to remind myself that gtow is different for every guy. Some guys might want to be very socially active and yet others ghost or even monk mode. I might work by myself away from it all; yet another guy who has charted his own path might go island hopping and having great time partying across the Caribbean dressing up much more than myself. I say, more power to every guy no matter what path he takes. Have a great time.
As far as my own clothes, I usually dress way down when working in this rural area and certainly don’t try and impress anyone. When I go to town I usually wear older jeans and running shoes and a polo shirt or couple of layered t shirts. Sometimes if I have an appointment or something lined up I wear khaki or stone colored chinos and a long sleeve blue cotton shirt and some low brown hiking shoes. I let my hair get a little long at times but maybe two or three times a year have a barber cut it way back down and then grow it out again. It’s all good.
Beyond clothes, the one thing I do believe in for looking and feeling good is a regular dental visit. If you have to spend a little to get your teeth in back in shape .. do it this year and just get it done.

I’m still in my twenties so women don’t even notice I exist. I’ve also had this trait about me of walking into rooms unnoticed by everyone in the room. If there weren’t cameras in most businesses, I swear I could walk in there, and rob the place clean. That’s how unnoticeable I am to women and even other men. And I’m loving every minute of it.

I only dress up when I’m out going to a movie or if I plan to eat out. Otherwise, I usually just stick to t-shirts and jeans.

I’m wearing a kilt. That garment works well in hot climates, and I don’t give a f~~~.

I plan on getting a few kilts as well. I’ve never worn one myself, but I know they feel great in the summer time. Especially during heat waves.

Hell yeah. I take pride in keeping myself together. I’m always clean. I got invisalign braces last year too. I got them during a break up with my ex. I wanted to improve myself while I left her behind. I am also getting surgery to fix my shoulder in a few months. After rehab I should be able to work back to lifting heavy weights again without as much pain. I want to look good.

    I work out 6 days a week.

    F~~~ you. REALLY?? Respek!!!

4 days a week was my max and I thought that was doing well. But I once had a job that was very athletic so that counted about the same. Gym visits 4 a week is pretty damn good – but SIX? You built like a brick s~~~ house or something? Tell the truth now. You’re a Dirty Dancing 80s Patrick Swayze aren’t you.

@redpillprimate: I’m starting to see more men here casually wearing kilts now.

They used to only be worn for special Scottish heritage ceremonial purposes.

I want to get an even lighter weight one for the brutal part of Summer. They really are great in hot climates.

My collection of paddling clothing both for cold and warm water has made me immune to being mocked for what I wear. My dry suit looks almost like a Star Trek uniform.

Great topic. Like many others here, I workout 5-6 days a week. The sixth day is more of a light cardio stretch focused day. To answer your question, I workout, I dress well, I keep myself clean cut/clean shaven for me and me alone. I like the way I look, I love not feeling embarrassed when I walk on the beach without a shirt owning a six pack abs. You should keep yourself in as healthy and top shape as possible because it will give you a better quality of life.

When I was married I started in shape and got out of shape. Whenever I tried to get back in shape I felt the efforts were sabotaged. The tired stupid phrase “i like you this way” I heard all too often. Women like when you do not turn heads because they will have the advantage. In other words, the less hot you are the less likely you will stray and think I can do better. Stay fit, stay jacked, stay looking good because trust me, you can always do better.

If it costs you your peace of mind, then it is too expensive.

You just reminded me of something I spoke about here before. I was out washing my car one night around 11PM. The only person at the wash. (I like that). And 2 tipsy chicks were stumbling home (from a later dinner with wine I guess) and you know how women ask that question….

    “do you work out?”

And I answered just like you did.

I hate that question. “do you work out?”. A body builder / bouncer once told me he hates that question too. It’s kinda obvious. Dude is SOLID and he gets asked that all the time. He thinks it’s the DUMBEST f~~~ing question. “Never. I was born looking like this” he says. And they just stare at him like “WHAAAA???”.

At 48 I do my best to eat healthy food and am physically active but I don’t “work out”. I have my typical “uniform” of plain grey jeans, random t-shirt (usually of the nerd-ish variety) and black side-zip military boots or high-top Chuck Taylors, depending on how casual I feel.

Of course I maintain my physical health with regular dental visits and body checkups and I keep my hair trim (Great Clips, $10 a pop) but I usually have about three days growth of facial hair and just push my hair back and wax it to keep it out of my way.

Definitely not *trying* to appeal to anyone and I usually go unnoticed, like a stage hand at a Kabuki theater… but I am cordial and kind to people by nature so I do occasionally find myself engaged in brief interactions with people, unless they ring my “danger” bell.

In short, I maintain myself the same way I would my jeep or my bike, but I’m more into practical functionality than any kind of marketing appeal.

I try to be healthy and that results in me looking good also. So I look good but that’s because being healthy and fit looks good. I dress well because my job requires it and I’m used to wearing a dress shirt and slacks. I like to look good though. You never know when an opportunity will present itself and it’s better to be ready for when it comes.

I bathe in the tears of single moms.

As a businessman I have to look professional. But I long for the day when I retire out to the middle of nowhere. I’m going to grow a VERY long beard, and dress in rags. I frankly couldn’t care less what strangers in public think about me. I only look good now because I’m forced to because of my job. But once I retire, I’m not going to do ANYTHING to look good anymore. I’ll still shower and keep myself clean, but F~~~ looks. Who gives a s~~~?
