Was struck in my youth by the revoultionary new Electronic Music.
I identified with the break from the Traditional past of Love songs and Hippy idealism.
We were living under the threat of the Bomb, the ecconomy was f~~~ed and the old ways seemed failed.
I didn’t know it at the time but I think the term Nhilism described the feeling pretty well. Then along came this:
A cold emotionless empty guy who can only relate to the funcionality of electronics?
No Love, No Romace, just brutal hard survival in an unfeeling world.
Now we move towards Sexbots, so maybe he saw something comming.
I like the line “I don’t think I mean anything to You”
Followed up with an ode to the enduring love of my Life

If only I had the choice that the brothers in the US have 🙁
One day I’ll get my Challenger!
So in short. Life and society was burned out in the late 70’s and we found a new way. A new Future.
We will always create. We Adapt and Survive.
The Future is ours and always has been.
Everything else is lies.

You must own a better Crystal ball than I“So in short. Life and society was burned out in the late 70’s and we found a new way. A new Future”..
Interesting post, matey. It must have been good to have been around back then. I love the electronic music of the early to mid 80s. Experimental melodies, stuff that was really pushing boundaries. And to think that was only 30-odd years ago.
I’m a child of the late 70s, firmly Generation X (aka the shafted generation, but that’s for another thread). As a Brit from up north, got into the rave/hard dance scene of the 90s. Again a lot of the stuff pushed boundaries and set the heart racing. Saw some amazing sights, had some fabulous times.
Then you look at this generation. The music consists of bland cover versions and manufactured pop/synch bilge. Tv- pretty much the same. A sterile culture festering on the illusion of the celebrity. Every generation had its ” rebel” music. This generation just has its submit and wilt tunes.

Would you believe I had that very album? On tape…used to play it loud in my old metro. Until the cassette player chewed it up….

Every country has it’s own story but we all share the same issues of oppression from a leftist Feminist system.
The UK is p~~~ed off at an elemental level. You don’t see this on the MSN, but talk to the people privately and we’re p~~~ed.

Couldn’t have said that any better. The system over here really is the pits…

Anonymous13Funny how we all thought the UK was somehow sensible and above the bulls~~~, seems the societal cancer of feminism is everywhere.
No where is safe for men.

It’s pretty strong here man. Not including the ex, I’ve met some of the most devious vipers on two legs.
That being said, I’ve had the pleasure of working in the Netherlands when I was younger. Blue pill overload. Real feminist man hating country…on steroids.

I wish it were so, but it’s not. We’re f~~~ed, same as you. I don’t think it’s quite as bad as the US, YET, But it’s getting there. I browse the dating sites and I see a lot of women from Nottingham. This is the city that made cat calling to females a felony. Guys aren’t hitting on those chicks at the moment. We don’t want to get busted just trying to hit on a chick.

I’ve been tempted to stick up a fake profile. Stick up pictures of BMW/Mercedes/Audi/A-another kraut mobile and see how many replies I get. Maybe stick in a load of blue pill s~~~e in there as bait.

I had me in a suit at the office, loads of interest. Golddiggers. Changed to me in casual at home? No interest.

Facking hell…that’s really…what’s the word…
Superficial!
That is women to a capital tee though. Chap who was my boss used to go everywhere in adidas tracksuit bottoms and Umbro sweatshirt. Told me he did it to avoid being “fleeced for money in certain situations”.
To look at him you wouldn’t think he had a penny. Retired at 51 and lives in a nice big house in Keswick.
Just going to find a good pic of me in a suit. I’m sure I have one lurking.
