I just saw this and saw red – I am so sick of how the media is trying to frame this controversy and it’s nothing but sheer propaganda. When I used to watch a few network shows a lot of years ago, one I’d watch was “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” (the only of the L&O shows I would watch) but after repeated direct insults to conservative viewpoints and personal smears I stopped cold. I realize this is different but the tactics the L@O writers/directors/whoever are using are identical: LIE YOUR F~~~ING ASS OFF AND HOPE THE DUMMIES DON’T NOTICE. While I have played Doom games and the likje many years ago I have never been a real gamer, it was something to do for a while, but the naked lying and attempted deflection going on in GamerGate outrages me. It’s another stark example of a media who doesn’t give a s~~~ about the truth any longer in many topics, it only cares about telling fairy takes that suits its collective worldview, in this case feminism and misandry. If I had seen that f~~~ing show I would have contacted them and started dropping the F bomb all over their ass, both L&O and the network.

Did any of you guys catch this show? If so, what did you think of it?

    Excerpts (Feb. 12th article):

After much anticipation, NBC’s “Law & Order: SVU” episode, “Intimidation Game” finally aired last night to an expectant audience. The Gamergate-inspired episode was the source of frenzied speculation with critics, viewers, and gamers wondering how the hashtag phenomenon would be treated. While it was generally accepted that the show might make some missteps in its depiction, nobody could have anticipated the utter lunacy that took place on our screens last night.

The episode was reminiscent of 1950′s PSA campaigns warning of the dangers of marijuana; the aim wasn’t to inform or educate, but to vilify. While it remains to be seen what the effect of the episode will have on those unfamiliar with Gamergate, the effect on those directly involved was twofold. Many felt revulsion at the treatment of gamers, and some complained directly to the show’s writers and producers.

Viewers tweeted their live reactions to the show or were nestled in online chat-rooms, sharing their impressions. The bizarre timber of the show was set early when two gamers assaulted a woman during a video game competition. After the assault, an SVU detective asks her what happened. “It’s these guys, they just can’t stand women in gaming,” she replies, blood pouring from her lips.

The gamers-turned-kidnappers (all scrawny white males, of course) were a cartoonish bunch of rage-fueled misogynists who wore luchador masks during their exploits. Where this rage came from wasn’t fully explained, nor was the reason why women weren’t welcome in gaming (although there were some vague allusions to daddy issues.)

Once saw an episode of Law & Order SVU and it showed two boys one 9 and the other 11 being tried for a rape of a 35 year old woman. I was like 17 back then and the utter abhorrence I felt for that show, made myself a promise that I wouldn’t watch it again even if someone made me do it at gunpoint.

I mean really? 9 year old rapist? Whats next? A 2 year old baby who sexually assaulted his foster mommy by refusing to release her t~~~ from his mouth? No means No? I mean Yes means Yes?

    uh whatever..

I also hate that show, almost every episode is about some sexual assault on a woman by a man, about the only thing it does is fuels the rape hysteria  and hatred of men.

I didn’t watch it, but I watched Mundane Matt’s review and it was spot on. He mentioned how the episode tried to paint what happened in it as the norm and something that has happened. But none of that has happened though. No woman has been assaulted at a con were she was beaten, no woman has been forced out of the industry because of “misogyny”, and no woman has been raped because of gamergate.

That video was f~~~ing hilarious. I was laughing so hard when they were reading the death threats. Do feminists actually think gamers would “stick a spoon in their eyesocket and pop out their eyeb~~~~”? LOL.

I was cheering on the gamers and booing the evil feminists/police. The whole death/rape threat thing is part of gamer culture. It is part of the online trash talking. We say that s~~~ all the time and they don’t understand that. That is why they get so butthurt when they get empty threats over twitter. The funniest threat against Anita I have read over twitter is when a guy said he was going to shove a tire iron up her c~~~….LMFAO!!! hahahaaha I laugh every time because it is obviously a joke but whatever. 😛

If people can’t take Death threats and verbal abuse on the NET, then they should stay off the NET. Its 100% guaranteed that if you are a Well known person(or not) you WILL get threats and abuse doesnt matter if you’re Nelson Mandela to being a famous popular Pop star like MJ.

The kitchen was already Hot to being with …

I agree completely! It is absolutely different from meeting a thug in a dark alley! Why does some anonymous troll’s typing have to drive anyone into a tizzy? If she doesn’t like what she sees, all she has to do is click on another web address.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
