I know what many will say, they don’t give a f~~~. That’s all fair enough, but I do care so I’m going to write about it anyway.

Mad Max:Fury road is nominated for 10 Oscars. WTF?! Did I miss something? Wasn’t it just a formulaic brain dead action flick with a lot more estrogen than testosterone? I can’t believe it has 10 nominations including best picture and best director.

It’s nice to see Tom Hardy getting a best supporting actor nod for the revenant, though.

WTF says it for me! Full disclosure: I have not, and shall not, watch this turkey. My opinion is based entirely on judge the movie by its trailers, and by the opinions of pals who did see it.

That’s how bad movies have gotten. Nominating Mad Tampax for anything other than Art Direction is pure politics and silliness. But what is there to compare it to? Hangover 5?

Mad Tampax wasn’t even a “film”. It was a “movie event” of the summer. So was Indiana Jones- +3o years ago, and those movies are not Oscar material. Indiana Jones (Temple of Doom ) had 2-hour lineups around the whole city block.

More people saw and enjoyed Back To The Future which only got 4 nominations and won 1 for best Sound FX. And people LOVE that movie! They watch them over and over again and there are Back to the Future events & cast reunions and car shows still today.

Nobody is going to give a s~~~ about Max Tampax (or Charlize Tampon’s “performance” ) 30 years from now.

It was only nominated because everything else was s~~~ too.

The “best” is only the best of the worst now.

I think it has been a pretty good year myself, the martian, the big short, the revenant and bridge of spies were pretty decent movies. I wasn’t so impressed with spotlight and I have not seen either brooklyn or room, they both look like chick flicks so I wouldn’t waste bandwidth downloading them.

You didn’t miss anything, mangina max white knights for a bunch damsels in distress while Charlize Theron tries to look tough. Frankly more embarrassing than anything especially considering the talent on offer.

Personal taste aside, they were ALL better than MaxMax.

In 1977 – same year as Star Wars – “The Turning Pointe” was a ballet movie with Shirley Mclaine, Anne Bancroft, and Michail Baryshnikov…. nominated for 11 Oscars, and the actors were actually dancing in it.

Today it’s Natalie Portman’s dance double that won her the Oscar for Swan Lake.

That’s the “s~~~” I’m talking about in movies today.

And Jada Pinkett Smith and her cuck husband Will Smith, along with race-baiters like Snoop Dogg and Spike Lee, will f~~~ up the Oscars even more.

I’m so f~~~ing done with the Oscars. For the most part, they are not becoming about who performed the best or who did what the best, but rather who’s more popular. Jennifer Lawrence many other people and movies shouldn’t have been nominated.

I don’t care about the Oscars anymore.

Sad Max was a real disappointment! The first MM with Mel Gibson was great! I watched it like 4 times when it came out on video cassette.
The new one having “tough girls” with pencil bodies that could snap like a twig? WTF!
It just didn’t jive with any sort of reality. The movie was a real disappointment and gets MG-Towers lowest grade (feminized c~~~ movie) It sucked!!! First it was TV I abolished, now it’s looking like movies are next!
New movies keep getting worse and worse!
I’ll f~~~ing kill over my John Wane collection! You can have the duke when you pry his DVD’s from my cold dead fingers!!!
