Did any of you get into Political discussions over the holiday

I actually put Christmas off this year with my family until today and at that it was only my mother and father 85 and 87 respectively and both of them are screaming liberals who are still completely butthurt and delusional about the election results. I even bailed on Thanksgiving, deciding that turkey was overrated. I did miss my daughters who are both adults but I did not want to have to speak with my father. UC I have a very strange birth defect yes I was born to liberals. Apologies in advance if there are any liberals out there butt I will never be one and they have been trying my entire life to convince me I’m insane. However today was quite a bit different my dad is 87 he doesn’t get around very well but he still has a very opinionated ideology. He is the idiot who allowed my mom to go to Women Voters League. Don’t ever get mad at guys that are 60 years old get mad at the old guys they allowed the weird s~~~ to happen.

Anyway the conversation I knew was going to get very political after dinner but it got political the minute I walked in the door I was actually kind of surprised. My dad pounced on me like a cat which is a liberal attack policy. They try to catch you off-guard which is really the only way their argument would make any sense anyway. So my dad said you know that Trump is insane right? I just looked at him and said so what? So you can see where I’m going with this I’m learning this disengagement without lowering your social position. I stuck to my guns and I said why don’t you give the guy a chance. Obviously the conversation degraded and I left which is just the way that it goes. Some of us are born without birth defects some of us are born with birth defects to me being a liberal Progressive is a birth defect because you seem to be nuts all the time forever. Wish I’d been raised by some conservative.

Why is it that these liberal progressives are so insane it’s like there completely mad. Maybe because they’re all really losers with no self-esteem they have to identify with a group. Thank God I went my own way don’t need that anymore. I told my dad he should change religions.

Yeah…just with an uncle…who proceeded to s~~~ all over Clinton for like 30 minutes straight and it was awesome. All the liberals in my family had already said years ago they hated Clinton when she was running against Obama, so I think the rest of us would have just laughed at them if they complained about Trump and they knew it so they didn’t bother lol.

For me, I don’t discuss politics because for the most part, people don’t change their minds. They’re set in their ways, and it won’t solve anything or be a good time. The topic never comes to a debate on policy, it usually boils down to…

“You’re an asshole for not agreeing with me.”

Much like other conversations, there’s little substance when talking to 90% of people, and political discussions usually turn into a modern political debate where there’s a bunch of name calling and mud slinging.

Had a quiet chrissie, me, the oldies and a post waller 50+ divorce initiator.

Was interesting hearing how she was so depressed – happily in a relationship for 15 years, they decided to marry under pressure from their friends. She wanted a divorce just 3 years later.

Motive? F~~~ed if I know what happened but she scored 75% of the divorce settlement out of court so now owns a house. He moved on (didn’t cheat she is still friends / living with him post settlement) and has a chick 10 years younger who eats up all his time. She has her cats!

She was a well behaved unc~~~y dinner guest, but most of my family’s time revolved around her circus of bulls~~~. My mum invited her. I just ate up the red pills with xmas lunch and downed them with beer and wine.

Thankfully my retiree neighbours dropped in for a few with their dogs.

I did, I had to inform some family peeps who are religious that I don’t usually get to see till the holidays about pizzagate. I did spread some awareness around on the subject. Just showed them a quick google of “Podesta art” to get them to realize the s~~~ I was about to talk about was no f~~~ing joke. Believe me, when I talk about serious s~~~ around people, no one ignores it. I told them straight up the only reason I’m telling them about it is because they need to bone up on what it is for themselves, don’t half ass the information gathering, and don’t just keep it to themselves like some inside information. It is time to tell their congregation now that there is a body of evidence.

I told them straight up; religious Christians have been validated about devil worshiping, abuse, etc and people are talking about these assholes online enough that it is viral. I told them it is time for them to nut up or shut up in a manner of speaking. The impression they gave me is that in their view lot of what they deal with is too many pretend to be Christians are pussified and domesticated and too scared to deal with such subjects, but they were not going to ignore this after what I showed them.

I worked all weekend. Everyone I know pretty much agrees with me anyway +/- 25% so what’s the point starting a fight with some asshole over nothing anyway.

I don’t venture into the SJW sections of town very often though. They always tend to kick us out of their joints. They’re not a friendly bunch at all.
