Debate.org results, vast majority of people think feminism destroys the family

I’m surprised the consensus on debate.org is so strong. around 94% say feminism destroyed the family. Its worth to read the reasoning on why people voted a certain way.

Society still judges men mid 30s and above (might be lower or higher) as defective and a loser for not marring and not siring children. The pressure on the younger bros is intense. Wanting to stick a meat hole doesn’t help.

Not true. There were severe penalties for cheating. You could very easily get divorced w/o cash prizes, lose access to your kids, and be shunned by your community. I’m not saying that marriage was a good deal back then, but clearly, the current divorce laws and societal views, promoted by feminism, have caused women to follow their base nature and for divorce to run rampant.

Take a look at the black community to see if feminism hurts a family. Those black chicks got all caught up in a fight that wasn’t theirs and lost what they had. The black family was together and prospering before feminism and LBJ’s Great society programs.

Now 72% of black children are born with no fathers in the house
Black women lead the country in STD’s, having kid out of wedlock, and having the most abortions.

Black men lead the country in being the least educated, and the most in jail.

I’d say feminism played a role in that.

Do they? Most the older guys I know say not getting married is smart…they just won’t say it in front of their wives lol. Almost every guy I know with a divorce under his belt says not getting married is smart. I know almost no guys that have tried to convince me that marriage would be good for me…really only one I can think of but the guy is a total jackass, already divorced once, who was having troubles with his current wife and talking about how he’d move out of the country if he had to pay her alimony lol…yeah…that’s the deal I want to make too!

Its generally just the women that say stupid s~~~, and as long as its not at work where I have to watch my mouth I generally just tell them I don’t care about dating or marriage because I’m retiring before 40 and moving out of the country and most women my age won’t be on board with that and will just ruin my plans. If they are especially annoying I’ll tell them I’m moving out of the country to where it cost about 8 dollars a night for a hot young prostitute and I won’t have to ever worry about getting financially wrecked in divorce.
