    Emotional manipulation, fear, threats, total control over their lives. What chance do the kids have? They adapt to survive and do as they’re told. Until they mature, then the payback begins and the judgement they have is brutal. Unfortunately, many just repeat the cycle in their relationships and society spirals into the drain.

    i let my ex know in very clear terms,
    if she wants to play “tug of war ” with our kid,
    i will let go completely.
    it worked.
    i see the kid more than she does.
    but she tried to use the kid for leverage.
