Two questions actually.
Hit me!
1. You removed the “Latest Posts” button from the forums as an option. I have always found this to be helpful. …… Not looking to switch to MRA because of it.
In the sidebar on the right…. at the top under “Overviews” (just beneath the Day / Night button) there is a “latest topics” available on every page. That brings up latest TOPICS.

We had a “Last 10 (or 20)” TOPICS and REPLIES button that brought up a cool modal window which would list latest 10 on the forums index page.

On that page we will bring that back.
It’s convenient and lists the last 10 for a quick overview.
But loading it on every forums page was the bottleneck. The last 20 replies rotator at the top may come back but it is rather redundant – because the last 10 replies are visible when you’re looking at a list of topics anyway. Column of avatars on the left shows who created topics last. Column of avatars on the right shows who replied last.
But the “cost” is loading those AGAIN on every forums page view. It’s like telling the website to “give me the latest”….. and then give me the latest AGAIN – on every page view.
I loved that feature but we saw a MAJOR speed boost by removing it and the site is much more stable. The last 100 forum posts are available here /latest
It even has live filtering. To show them to you in the exact order they were made. We may add avatars to that too.
2. How have you been doing? I haven’t seen you responding to posts as much as you normally do lately. I do love reading your responses here on MGTOW.com.
Thanks but they take time. And this site represents time ABOVE our jobs which is already 40 hours on top of our 40 hours a week elsewhere. I’m knackered. Have to approve latest members to become participants…… respond to dozens of emails…. take care of drama… and this morning, tested the Private messaging system for “Jan Sobieski” and “Prefer Peace”.
They have been both a source of wisdom and humor. If I have to, I will start following you here on this website.
Go ahead! I believe I followed you last week. I have to follow you for you to be able to see my profile and latest forum posts… but mostly it’s to bookmark you for access to the private chat.

As Hitman said, they’ve moved the “latest posts/topics” function to your profile. Admittedly I found it a little annoying that they had moved it away from the main header of the forums, but I’ve also noticed the website is running a lot snappier, and load times and RAM usage are a lot lower.
Exactly. But I repeat, the forums index will have the buttons back again. But now they are under “Overviews” on every forums page in the sidebar (under the day / night switch). They just don’t look as pretty.
We’re planning a major push before International MGTOW Day. Across the site we are redoing the archive, favorites system is ready, single Audios are now live, single video is almost live, and a new reworking of the homepage and Hero area.
Remember, this isn’t our “job”. We don’t get paid for any of it and frankly, we have made MGTOW.COM such a priority that other sites have suffered. But it’s also extremely successful.

Well, don’t be too quick to make that move….. because we reached our highest ever global significance yesterday. Almost neck and neck with AVFM which is incredible, I don’t mind saying.
Anyway, thanks for your note! I’ll be around… but when I’m not, I promise, Im WORKING on the site and reading everyone else and responding to emails. In the next 9 days you will notice some big improvements and new stuff. Stay patient. Then I can exhale for a bit and start USING IT!!
