Day 6 In hell: I am Privileged?

What is a privilege? Are men privileged? And if so how? How much more can you insult someone for being privileged for having something without knowing the circumstances? That is how my 6th day went. I learnt about my so called “Male Privilege”. It looks like for some reason I am born with this privilege that I have never known about. Anyone ever heard of “Privilege walk”? In short it’s a test that shows how priveleged you are according these people. According to this survey I am privileged for having something simple as a bookcase filled with books. Not my fault I do not throw 700$ every year on a new iPhone.

I was intrigued by this chance. I could gain the knowledge on how these people see me. It’s quite amusing to be called privileged for having as I said earlier a bookcase filled with books by somebody who has the newest iPhone. Have you ever talked with somebody so ignorant of reality that you wonder how they do not understand or see the problem when it’s right there in their hands. Hypocrisy at it’s finest.

What amused me most was when looking through the survey it looked like that I was privileged and a spoiled guy, but that is far from the truth. All these so called “privileges” I have is earned from working. I get to live with my parents without paying rent? Well I built 42sq m balcony and a 14sq meter entrance with my father this last summer. Bookcase filled with books? Helped the local library from shutting down and helping them out a summer 4 years ago. I could go on and on, but you get the picture.

I should just have you guys know that they are going to bring up “bachelor tax” and “male tax” again in the western countries. There are even talk of starting the movement of shaming men who do not want to marry. Sometimes I want to cry out for what humanity has become. I am just glad that I am out of this hell tomorrow.

So guys brace yourselves, because tunas are coming. Especially to this website, because they are thirsty for drama.

No matter what you say, they will call it privilege. Oh, you can work and build things with your hands? You are privileged to have be white, have access to employment and to have hands.

The whole notion of privilege is to find an excuse for every rational justification for the differences between people’s outcomes. Your values are better? You were privileged to have parents with the privilege of teaching you values. What, you were an orphan? You were privileged to be foster cared. What, you were raised by wolves? You were privileged to have a strong wolf mother, etc.

The bottom line is “I suck, my values suck, my ideals suck and my efforts suck so my outcomes suck but I refuse to take responsibility so I’m going to credit all your successes to privilege so that it looks like I’m oppressed rather than just sucking at everything.”

You can’t argue against privilege because these people are irrational… they don’t care about reality, they just want to get free s~~~ and avoid responsibility. You just have to avoid and marginalize the people who use these types of arguments.

Unless someone has a devastating “feels-based” argument against privilege. I’m also looking for one to debunk white guilt as well.

This is coming from a straight white male. It is as simple as this—-

Anytime I hear the word equality I know I’m about to get f~~~ed over.
Anytime I hear the phrases “affirmative action, equal opportunity employment” I KNOW I’m about to get f~~~ed over.
If I haven’t figured this out by now than I am easily the dumbest member on this board. Being a straight white male has become a crime. Don’t kid yourself.

I have had the ‘pleasure’ of doing the privilege walk myself. They would not let me ask any questions that came to my mind, so of course the outcome was predetermined. I, somehow, failed to feel bad about myself. Well, I wasn’t there to make friends anyway….

Privileged? Advantaged? That’s a question for women, those two words I don’t have a clue to the meanings! I only know the origins of those two words and it lies within being a woman.

Who makes up these shame campaigns? And for what purpose?

Are we to be shamed into extinction? Is every other culture in the world better than mine? Have they no shameful past, or is that just airbrushed out of history?

I feel like I’m under attack in an undeclared war that has been waged against me for 70 years openly. This is why I walk away. Remove the target and they can shoot each other instead.
