Had drinks with a buddy of mine this evening who is trying to figure out why the woman he is dating would not return his text messages in regard to getting together with him this weekend. He went as far as to show me the texts. Yup. He politely asked what time he should pick her up, if she could stay out overnight, etc, etc, etc. Her response? Evade, dodge, and flirt without answering any of this questions.

It gets better.

Not understanding why she was avoiding answering his questions he asked one of his ‘lady’ friends why she was acting the way she was. Enter the hive mentality: Maybe she’s busy, you’re overreacting, you aren’t exclusive yet, etc, etc, etc. Needless to say he was more flustered than when he started.

He finally asked me what I thought so I told him.

“I don’t date c~~~s or talk to them. Sorry bud.”

God, I don’t miss that s~~~.

I don’t know why he’s worried about this lady while he’s out having drinks. He should leave the cell phone in the car/at home and enjoy the moment.

I guess he’s making progress. I spoke with him earlier. He left town and went on a road trip, something he said he’s been wanting to do for a while. Hasn’t heard from her and I told him not to reach out to her under any circumstances. If she contacts him he can be vague if he wants and let her know he’s off doing what he wants to do and enjoying his time. Told him his best bet is to ignore her all together. Time will tell.

I hope that red pill stays down and dissolves. He’s a good dude.

Many years ago a woman had me over, then went upstairs and blew me off. Said she’d be right back. I sat on her couch like a f~~~ing moron for 40 minutes. Finally I had enough. I left, didn’t tell her I was leaving, where I was going… nothing.

My phone blew up. I ignored it until the next day. At which time I told her my time was valuable and I won’t waste one more second of it on her couch like a dog.

The whole thing made her VERY insecure. She never pulled that again.
