I found this article and thought you guys might be interested.

In addition, Curcumin is a natural anti-depressant, it kills cancer cells, prevents Alzheimers and reduces muscle soreness after working out. What’s not to love?

There’s also the added bonus of yellow teeth which should keep women at bay. Ha.

That’s really cool! I notice how Indian spices and herbs tend to have some REALLY good effects.

I took some natural herb pills that were meant to calm anxiety and depression and they WORKED. Not even Xanax or Celexa that the docs gave me did me any good (in fact they made me worse).

Cool. Do you know what the active ingredient was? I’m trying curcumin supplements for anxiety and depression. It’s also a good excuse to eat more delicious curries. I trust traditional medicine far more than anything sponsored by big pharma.

I remember one of the brands I tried was “Organic India” and the pill was called “Joy!” or something like that. One of them was ashwaghanda and the other was shankhapushpi or something like that. Both pills with those herbs did wonders for me. I need to find a store near me in my new living area that has those again.
