    When you get German vs Russkie especially during the Cold War you finally get a very brutal and masculine film. A more modern one is Enemy at the Gates also German vs Russian.

    James Coburn was such a great actor. Another good movie he appeared in was a fistful of dynamite I highly recommend watching it.

    Check out the two Flint movies with Coburn; In like Flint and Our Man Flint. They’re wonderful 60s spy spoofs which Coburn plays completely straight. Nearly everyone else does a little mugging for the camera or otherwise lets the audience know they’re in on the jokes, but Coburn never breaks character which makes his performance funnier than all the rest.

    Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.
