Critics worry sexbots can kill their owners

It is more likely that a woman kills /injures her husband / boyfriend or sends him to jail. It has happened a few times and may keep happening.

At least the sex bot can be programmed, program can be analyzed for safety, made open source for public even further analysis by geeks, and it can be flashed onto a read-only media with checksum and digitally signed, so then it is not possible to hack it without physical access.

And, when anything bad happens in spite of that, code can be changed to make it not happen again at any other sexbots too.

I don’t know how such things may be hacked when it doesn’t need remote access.

Personally, I think it’s over the top, but if someone wants a bot like women have vibrators, he should be free to have it.

I really think we are missing the opportunity and the real risk here…..

If I am going to hack my neighbour’s $6000 sex robot, then I am not going to make it kill him. Why on earth would I do that ? What I’m more likely to do is to make his sex robot ocassionally visit my place and cheat on the owner ! ( just like REAL WOMAN ) 😉
