The office of Rep Mike Quigley (D Illinois) announced on June 12 that he has introduced the “Communications Over Various Feeds Electronically for Engagement” or “COVFEFE” Act. This would ensure that the National Archives records social media.
Too bad that he does not have more important things to do given that the City of Chicago within his district.

2017 to date
2,202 violent crimes murders (Murder, Rape, Robbery and Assault)
6,461 property crimes (Burglary, Theft, Motor vehicle theft)
3,273 quality of life crimes (Disorderly conduct, Vagrancy and Loitering)Guess Tweets are the new Pokemon, “Gotta Catch Them All”.

Isn’t it easier to catch a tweet than a thief? Think he’s setting the bar low to then brag about it.
Given those stats though may be less tweets than crime in that area.
Hope that someday I may lead others the path I have learned. As Virgil led Dante through Hell.

Only for Trump. Looks like they are waiting for an impeachable tweet. /sigh/ Give me a break.

It’s the whole damn state. Illinois is having issues making payments on their bonds.
Anyway. COVFEFE really means: Clinton Ordered Vince Fosters Execution Found Evidence. LOL That’s why Trump tweeted it!

Anonymous6The man is gonna be president until January 20th, 2025. The Dems don’t even have the numbers to impeach. The s~~~ literally cannot happen.
Give me a break.
My thoughts exactly MW. Archiving social media without any frame of reference is like archiving comics generated by foreign countries.

You know this and I know this. Why the hell is it still even an issue? Damn MSM. Fools.

Because they are doing what all politicians do, attack the other part whenever possible and with whatever is possible. It’s about the party and not the individual. If they can successfully target the highest profile member of the Republican Party at this moment, that would be their crown jewel.
The s~~~ literally cannot happen.
“An impeachable offense is whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history”. 1970 Gerald Ford.
President Trump can certainly be impeached by a simple majority from any of several bodies within the House. That being said of course, the Senate has the charge to convict or acquit with a 2/3rds vote.
Impeachment is probable but conviction is not unless the President, Vice President or another Officer really screws up and pulls a Nixon on themselves. (The Watergate Tape)

I’m confused. Unless the party flips on him we have the House and Senate. So, it is not possible? Right? Or am I missing something?

You are correct MW, if the votes stay along party lines, then impeachment by the House is impossible. The same goes for conviction within the Senate if no one crosses the line.
My point was that impeachment by the House is separate from conviction by the Senate. Knowing that a conviction is practically impossible might embolden house members to vote for impeachment to settle a political grudge.
Politics is the nastiest of games humans play.

Never thought about that angle. The party will hopefully stick together or we will have a major s~~~ storm for no reason. Except to give the Democrats something to jerk off too.

Clearly. I have never seen anything like what is happening today. Of course, I’m a youngster. LOL

You should have been around the arguments/discussions Pistol Pete, myself and peers had about politics during class, especially in American Politics or Constitutional Law. It’s amazing that we did not choke each other out at times … oh those were the days. No internet or social media to clog ones brain, you had only your intellect and memory of the books that you had read.
Never thought about that angle.
Impeachment is a funny thing as folks rarely know that removal from office is a two step process, but politics is an entire waltz.
