This probably too broad of a thread, but I’m personally getting rather annoyed with how the media, and the people who buy into it, interpret news.

    As an example
“Trump gives rich tax cuts, drops medicare support”

It’s painted as evil, unthinkable, as an abuse of power. Really, it’s the exact opposite if it’s anything at all.

The government cannot GIVE a tax cut. Taxes are not there money to begin with. They are actually taking less in that statement. Taking less can really only be interpreted as taking less power, not at all an abuse of power. Seriously, how can the government doing less, exhibiting less control over the people be thought of as abusing power?

Second, medicare, providing financial aid for the health services, is not something the government is required to do. Not in the constitution. If it isn’t required, then not doing it can’t be abusing power.

Makes no sense. If you truly believe that the rich should be providing financial support for the poor, why aren’t you protesting at a rich person’s doorstep?

Even if you did go with the media’s point of view, at least have the decency to fully formulate the consequences. If it really is the government’s money to control, then the government really controls everything. Whatever money isn’t taxed is just generosity from the government. You don’t own anything. If the government feels that money is better off in someone else’s hands, then you have no recourse for complaint.

    Ok. Then do it.

If you control the narrative, you can control the people. There are people who, if the news says the world would end, they would go to their local grocery stores and buy everything in bulk. (That actually happened before, for the people who remember 1999)

The thing that Trump has over the media is Twitter. Now does he shoot himself in the foot sometimes, YES. But the good outweighs the bad. He can go over the media and get his message directly to the people. What people don’t realize is, the media loses influence everyday. Not even Fox is reliable anymore. Many people are resorting to new media, in terms of radio and podcasts. That’s what I listen to.

    interpret news

One interprets art, philosophy, research and development, etc.

    Journalism is gossip.

    Women gossip.

    Interpret ideas.

Exactly, the anointed one did not win and now we have Trump Derangement Syndrome. Every damn day it is the same thing. BASH TRUMP.

Trump could cure cancer tomorrow and the headline would be’ “Trump kills millions of innocent cancer cells”.

They can control the narrative but nobody can control this downward spiraling society in a tailspin to certain death!

The recent wins by Trump and the Republicans in general is proof that control of the narrative is not as effective as they think it is. There will always be truth seekers and enough of the population still has the capacity for free thought.

What people don’t realize is, the media loses influence everyday.

I think people are aware, but they don’t understand why. To them, there isn’t any other way to look at the facts and see something different. They have been so indoctrinated that they can’t see anything but the narrative.

It really isn’t just the audience, but the media themselves. They believe the crap they are saying, and can’t see how someone could possible disagree with them. They believe they are truth, and the alternative sources are lies. That’s they way continue to keep repeating over and over. They don’t see another way.

That party is problem what’s scariest to me. I’d be more comfortable if the ‘powers that be’ knew they were lying and bending the truth. If they actually had a concrete agenda they knew what they were doing. If there was some overriding masterplan. I just don’t think it’s that much of a conscious effort. It’s just people following their emotions without realizing what colored glasses they are wearing…refusing to take them off.

    Ok. Then do it.

I begin to think that there is a plan.

“Education should aim at destroying free will so that after pupils are thus schooled they will be incapable throughout the rest of their lives of thinking or acting otherwise than as their school masters would have wished … The social psychologist of the future will have a number of classes of school children on whom they will try different methods of producing an unshakable conviction that snow is black. When the technique has been perfected, every government that has been in charge of education for more than one generation will be able to control its subjects securely without the need of armies or policemen.” by:

    Johann Gottlieb Fichte
(1762-1814) German philosopher, psychologist, considered the father of German nationalism

Source: Prussian University in Berlin, 1810, quoted by The Impact of Science on Society by Bertrand Russell, 1952

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart-R'as al Ghul.

It’s obvious there’s two camps, one camp lies, deceives, and speak no truths.

The other camp seeks the truth and abides by it.

The bad camp has convinced the good camp to keep feeding the monster and letting it grow.

As my favorite radio host Andrew Wilkow has said, “Socialism is for the socialist and not for the people”, and he’s right! The benefactors always come out filthy rich while poverty becomes a way of life and never changes.

    Don’t believe it?

Venezuela The pearl of South America plundered by socialism with the nationalization of industry and enterprise.

It’s foolish to think more of a bad thing is any kind of cure. But that’s government’s motto; f~~~ up a good thing then need more and more funding to fix it until they own everything.

Private property and the inalienable rights to them are vanishing at an alarming rate.

The point of no return was sometime decades ago, buckle up and hang on tight!

Socialism and Communism, now part of every American’s life!

People online have pointed out that during the election Hillary took a lot of money from a lot of people, she made a lot of promises, she likely paid the corporate press for all the support she received. Some of that money was likely given under the table. Maybe at some of those dinners that Hillary like to invite members of the press too, that Wikileaks exposed.

Note, the only major reporter of the time the e-mails did NOT implicate as going to these Hillary dinners was Sean Hannity. The rest of the major reporters went to these dinners.

When Hillary lost the election the corporate press lost their meal ticket. And in true SJW fashion, instead of those of the corporate press realizing this was their fault for backing a losing candidate with more baggage than any other president candidate in history. Those of the corporate press blame President Trump and Trump supporters for their (the corporate press) own screw up.

And like the rest of the progressives, those of the corporate press are taught that they are never wrong. So, those of the corporate press keep doubling down, they invent lies to prove how they are always right. They keep digging a deeper hole for themselves.

When President Trump trolls the corporate press, he is handing them a larger shovel to dig with.

Those in the corporate press believe that if they can have President Trump overthrown in a coup, they can restart the status quo gravy train again.

Well, the status quo is dead. The status quo is not coming back.

Hollywood is pretty good at this… So much stuff is 100% off limits it is transparent at this point. And what they consistently push is obvious as well.
