Consumer Reports rates online dating services

Just an FYI thing.

Consumer Reports is a well-known rating service for appliances and household goods. I check them before buying any large appliance, to find out which brands are most reliable and last longest. Consumer Reports also rates small products like coffee, wine, toilet paper, etc.

The latest edition of Consumer Reports contains ratings for online dating services. I expect there won’t be much need or interest here at MGTOW.com. But I thought it was funny that Consumer Reports was tackling such a subject. Also, the article contains an overview of the online dating world in general. Newly divorced guys might not know anything about the subject and might appreciate a overview of that world and the options out there.

All the hookup sites boil down to three things:

1) Are there real women on the site
2) Can you easily see and sort through pictures of them
3) Is it fast and easy to meet someone once you’ve “matched” them

All the questions, compatability, messaging and paid promotions are BS. Most of these services are FULL of thirsty men willing to shell out cash for the hopes that some bot account with a pornstar profile image will respond to their messages. Tinder pretty much wiped all of that out but even Tinder has become more about attention whoring than quick hookups.

I suspect the people actually getting laid are on Kik or What’s App or SnapChat or whatever the most recent “show me your junk” service is hip at the moment and that all the older systems, including Tinder, are a collossal waste of time and effort.

I have no facts to back it up, but I would think that the different sites have different levels of penetration for a specific geographic area. I doubt you’d be able to get access to that info though.

I’ve gotten laid off of dating sites before. Mostly match and zoosk. IT’s a lot of work though , and there’s a lot of fake s~~~. Haven’t been on in a couple years or so, so don’t know what they’re like now.
