The dude’s argument doesn’t hold any water, at least without have significant and much broader implications. What he’s saying essentially is that if a man asks for sex repeatedly, then she is no longer responsible for her own choice and decision to have sex. The coercion, pressure, or whatever is too much for her, and she’s no longer capable of making a decision on her own.

So take a different example, that of a woman and a mother with her child.

Woman: Can I give your child a knife?
Mother: No.
Woman: Can I give your child a knife?
Mother: No.
Woman: Can I give your child a knife?
Mother: No.
Woman: Can I give your child a knife?
Mother: Fine, whatever.

If a woman can’t be responsible for her actions in the case of this ‘consensual rape’ then she can’t be help responsible for allowing her own child to take a knife from a stranger.

The only logical conclusion is that women cannot be trusted to be guardians of children, have a driver’s license, vote, or really any responsibility that comes with adulthood.

Ok. Then do it.

That’s taking it way to far in the other direction as far as I’m concerned. If we just follow the principle of innocent until proven guilty, meaning there has to be some credible evidence in order for there to be a crime.

I do agree though that both men and women need to take active steps to prevent both actual rape and false rape situations. Risk can easily be reduced by having caution with strangers, knowing how to defend yourself, and generally taking some responsibility for your own safety. Avoid the dark alleys, lock your doors. A person’s lack of self security doesn’t excuse someone else’s crime, but it is always easier and less painful to prevent a crime then to provide justice after a crime, or acquisition, has been committed.

With all the different subgroups of rape-culture hysteria its hard to keep up with what DOESN’T constitute as rape.

To summarize, a woman on her own accord keeps making visits to his house. He gets thirsty, she finally asks HIM “do you really want to do this?” he responds “yeah”, she retorts “OK”….and he proclaims that such constitutes as “consensual rape”. Apparently a woman can’t be held responsible for HER verbal admission to sex, and according to this embryonic moron, men should hold accountability for it.
The simp that shared this (who for some reason I always envision cutting his 3.5 mm headphone jack sized scrotum with a formidable blade) was awarded a tongue lashing from me.
