If the talk grts out of hand, the PULL THE FIRE ALARM. Now here is how to COVER YOUR ASS. Claim that you SMELLED A GAS LEAK, and since that is super dangerous, you could think of nothing else to do.

With a little prior investigation, you can cover your ass even more. Find out in the building where the heat or electrical closet is, and if you have to, claim that this is where you smelled it, in the hallway near that door. Also try to see if there are any cameras around and avoid. And if you are really paranoid then superglue your fingertips to avoid leaving prints (not actual superglue but there is similiar stuff that peels off called liquid bandage. The generic brand at walgreens is under 5 bucks for an ounce, and an ounce goes a LONG way.)

When it is “You have to go” here, what are the consequences for being an ass in going to it? I don’t mean to be disruptive, but you can read up some facts on the said “rape culture”, and end up saying those. Depending on how it goes, you can also say you are tired of being told the default position for yourself is that you are a rapist and most men are, and they don’t have to be taught to. You can also speaking on you feel the entire talk is a large waste of time, because you have no plans on raping a woman. You can challenge the context of the situation. Now, if that is going to cause large negative ramifications, just bring a notebook with yourself and doodle. Or use a smart device if you can and keep yourself distracted. I understand maybe the military doing one of these things. They want to CYA to the world that they trained their soldier properly and to not be rapists. If it is private sector. Blech. I won’t comment on the content itself, as that is another issue.
