Great video, I agree with him in most part, but not the conclusion that most people don’t value truth.

I think people cannot face any challenge to WHAT THEY THINK TRUE. If anything they value their own truth to much.

Since people learn the truth from education/brainwashing and societal consensus, its natural that most people are blue pills that will defend the matrix with their own life.

The problem is people not being able to challenge their own beliefs.

Colttaine is dead on with Youtubes blatant search term censoring. I was just watching Ben Shapiro daily video. He was talking about leaked Katie Hill congress woman naked photos. I wrote some comments. The one comment that actually said “Katie Hill” in it VANISHED.

Youtube does sh!t DAILY that is worse than anything the Soviets or Nazis ever did. Flat out brutal doctoring of public information. Censorship that would make Stalin blush! 1984 level tyranny.

So blatant, in fact, that its usefulness to everyday people – apolitical non-pilled people – has been diminished. People know YouTube. People go to YouTube. And any other site will have few users and little content.

As Colttaine says, the matrix behind the Google matrix is people. They mindlessly go for what they know. They mindlessly push away what they don’t know.

The discussion about the truth is highly philosophical. Is there A TRUTH? Or is there sufficient proof to point in a general direction only? How do we know what is an ABSOLUTE TRUTH, even if such thing exists?

Take the argument “you cannot generalize” as it is applied to AWALT. They say you cannot say “all birds fly” because some cannot fly, like penguins.
That is formally true: mathematically and logically, in order for a universal preposition to be false, it only requires a single example where it is false.

But in a real world we expect birds to fly because the majority of them do!

What is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH HERE? Is “all birds fly” more true than “not all birds fly”? Or is it not?

Would you bet your life that you can catch the next bird because it doesn’t fly??? Of course not.

Therefore people could change the proposition, applying more information, statistics, exemptions or special cases. It may get formally more truthful but to complex to be useful. These mental jugglings are enough to paralyse decision making and lead to bad outcomes.

Nature cuts through this crap. Our brains are wired to operate in absolute preconceptions. You see a lion and you run, because IT IS DANGEROUS! Mathematical and logical formalism mean shi1t in that case.

But sit down and discuss AWALT. There will always be examples and counter-examples, fallacies, good and bad reasoning, and people will get nowhere.

Because quite correctly people know the they have to hold on to the truth they know, less they behave like leaves tumbling at the mercy of the winds. The winds being the hot air coming out of people’s mouths and a$$.

Who do we respect? The guy that ponders over every issue according to everyone’s input, always ready to change his mind, always swiveling through life or the obstinate man that follows his mind regardless of the obstacles and objections of others?

My personal development project this summer is validation, and its logical next step: manipulation. So many times I’ve read between the lines when different guys talk and I see the same underlying issues that can be summed up as ‘hindsight is 20/20’ or some variation of that. More to the point, red-pill rage and malaise and all that good stuff and how one can look back on so many instances in life where they were being taken advantage of, and had absolutely no clue until the red pill took hold years later. Not to drill down into that point as the thing to examine and talk about, but moreso to view a lot of life with that as a backdrop, or a theme.

I’m old enough to remember the art of conversation before computers were the medium, and I swear the 1’s and 0’s of modern life force people to think interms of right and wrong, black and white, win and lose, and on and on; dichotomy. On a subconscious level it almost seems like our thinking is being shaped by the technology to operate in this polarized way. I hate how everything has to be debated nowadays. So yes I agree, a logical and mathematical approach to life is also inadequate for sure. The simplicity of opening your eyes and seeing and drawing conclusions and even developing instincts to follow are all acts of oppression against some fool or another, and the M.O. today is to corner people and make them explain themselves and crush their ambition and kill their time. I’ve experienced this. The world is not logical so logic-based systems are inherently limited, just like systems based on feelz.

I really liked what you said. I remember a time in the 90s, although I was just a little boy, that things were much more laid back and mysterious. And people encountered eachother in a more hospitable way. The goddamn internet ruined all that because people laid it all out on the table, the fears and hatred that was laying under the surface that is supposed to stay under the surface of normal discourse. But the internet drug it out in the open. So it set all social progress back, racially, sexually tween men and women, etc… Now social trust is GONE.

We get nostalgic around here sometimes. No more hanging at the skating rink or shopping mall. They all closed down. So now its just fat people alone in a house with a smart phone.
