I was feeling very artistic yesterday. I even got down to business on a palette, laid out all the oil medium, mixed up some perfect colors and started the painstaking focus of getting it situated on canvas. Working on a complex still-life. Plan on hitting it tonight too. Once the oil paint is on the palette, you have about 48 hours at best to work it before its too clumpy. I pretty much produce about 1 painting a year but I think I might have developed my skills enough where I can start producing them faster.

Who knows, one day I might start making my supply cost back. I sell one every now and then.

There are so many beautiful words that we just cant recall.

Its a job in itself to keep your word arsenal fully stocked and diverse. You make a good habit of it. I search for synonyms often.

I knew you had an artistic impression. Painting is a noble expression. If/When you produce, I would be very much interested in seeing.

Here is a video of a painting I made about 2 or 3 years ago. I sold it for like $400 or something. Its was worth way more but I think I may repaint it again. It was the 2nd attempt. The 1st was compositionally different.

Anyway. Im really not that productive. I only seem to paint a few hours a month. I should do it everyday.

I think you shouldn’t push the painting. As with my ditties/poems, they come tome when they come. More organic that way.
